nfreeman Posted December 13, 2014 Report Posted December 13, 2014 Strachan is still out, right? So we'll probably see Pysyk or McCabe. If it's McCabe, that will reflect poorly on Pysyk. Quote
Johnny DangerFace Posted December 13, 2014 Report Posted December 13, 2014 (edited) I think strachen will miss at most 2 more games so we have enough bodies till then (I wish we'd see pysyk but I doubt a call up) The "Messy Benoit" pair is back baby Edited December 13, 2014 by Johnny DangerFace Quote
K-9 Posted December 13, 2014 Report Posted December 13, 2014 So who's manning the turret? Weber was my #1 tank commander. Thought I saw him handing out chevrons to Meszaros once. It's gotta be Anrej. GO BILLS!!! Quote

LTS Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 I'd take Pysyk or Ruhwedel at this point. McCabe did not look good last night. He made a ridiculously bad play and got pick-pocketed on a play that should never happen and it turned into a goal. Ruhwedel had the OT game winner. Quote
darksabre Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 Chad Ruhwedel blows. He was a mess last night until he scored the game winner in OT. I don't want him anywhere near the Sabres. Quote

BuffaloBorn Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 (edited) Probably a left hander Benoit, Gorges, Weber are left handers Edited December 14, 2014 by BuffaloBorn Quote
nfreeman Posted December 14, 2014 Author Report Posted December 14, 2014 Depends on if we need a RHD or a LHD Possibly, but I think it's more likely that this factor is the difference-maker only if there are 2 callup candidates that TM thinks are pretty close in overall ability to handle the NHL game at this point. Johnny DangerFace Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 I don't think it'll be anybody but psysk or Ruhwedel. Quote

Perhaps.. but McCabe might have been worse. The entire team doesn't look like it has any chemistry whatsoever. They look like the Sabres did at the beginning of year. Missing passes, passes into feet, missing the net. Only a few looked good at all. Grigorenko looked good. And I don't care what people say about Ellis.. that guy just plays hockey. He continues to show more hustle and pride than most players on the ice on any given night. It's unfortunate the wasn't gifted with more skill. Quote
