So wait a minute, the point of "The Tank" isn't to get McDavid/Eichel? There are other ways they could build a cup contender besdies trying to break records for being one of the worst franchises ever and they just decided this would be the best way to go?

The point if the tank is to finish DFL, yes. Supporting that approach isn't one and the same with saying we are doomed to a cup-less existence if it doesn't work.

 

Perhaps if we explain this 100 more times it will sink in....maybe?

If I was back in town, I would absolutely go for twelve dollars (I would probably pay a whole lot more). Just pointing out why someone might not want to go. Throw in the holiday season with other things to do and it kinda makes sense.
