Marvelo Posted December 11, 2014 Report Posted December 11, 2014 There's huge flooding in Washington state. Winds and high surf are knocking down coastline houses and a couple named Stanley and Resha SABRE have lost their home. I wonder if there are any crowdfunding sites that can help if Sabre fans can show them any love? http://www.wafb.com/story/27601473/high-surf-takes-out-beachfront-homes-in-wa Quote

tom webster Posted December 11, 2014 Report Posted December 11, 2014 What about Antoine Walker? He spent most of his pro career with the team formerly known as the Buffalo Braves( Celtics) and appears to have lost all $110 million of his career earnings. Surely we can help this guy out. Quote

tom webster Posted December 12, 2014 Report Posted December 12, 2014 didn't the Braves move to san diego and then to la to become the clippers? While the NBA recognizes the Clippers as the successor to the Braves through San Diego, it was actually a complicated business transaction where John Y Brown and the Celtics owner actually swapped franchises allowing john y brown to own the Celtics and their owner(Levin??) to get the San Diego franchise Quote

Always viewed it as Boston stealing our Braves. 1 more reason to dislike that sports town. Quote
X. Benedict Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 Yep. Always viewed it as Boston stealing our Braves. 1 more reason to dislike that sports town. I've never really thought of it that way, even though I knew the logistics. I still wish the Clippers misery. Quote
