X. Benedict Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 Let's keep it going. Nobody talk to Jhonas. You'll break the bubble. Quote
wjag Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 Only 11 penalties in the last 5 games, "so they have not put themselves in a bad advantage" Rob Ray Well that didn't take long Quote
Stoner Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 I think Nikita Kucherov got his shoe on that one. Quote
SwampD Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 That PP should have been a 5 on 3. Gus was taken down too. Quote
3putt Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 I find it funny that Risto is mentoring Zad. And both are comfortable with it. Quote
SwampD Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 This team is connecting on passes the likes of which we haven't seen for years. This is a much different Tampa team tonight. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 Every now and then we're really giving them fits. Risto's got swagger! Very good forechecking tonight. Quote
Eleven Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 (edited) I think Nikita Kucherov got his shoe on that one. Did you mean Khruschev? Edited December 5, 2014 by Eleven Quote
wjag Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 2 on 0 and they miss.. lucky break for Buffalo Quote
SwampD Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 I joked last game about them playing a smart road game even though they were home, but I think they need to go back to that. The win streak is giving them undue confidence and it looks like they are over-reaching a little. Just make the smart play, work hard, and wait for them to make the mistake to hopefully take capitalize on it. Don't try to make too much happen. I still can't get over how well they are passing. I'll also take being down only one against Tampa. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 Not a bad first period for our boys despite the score. Although the 2-on-0 breakdown was a catastrophe. But, that's what goaltending is for! Quote
X. Benedict Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 Let me congratulate Brad May on dressing like my Uncle Chuck at his bowling league retirement party in 1978. Quote
... Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 Brad May: how many concussions did he sustain and can those injuries affect fashion sense? Quote
3putt Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 To paraphrase Doug Marrone, Robviously. Quote
SwampD Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 What do these refs look at? that call was baffling. It should be Mitchell in the box for hooking and the Lightning player for holding the stick. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 (edited) That could have been a trip on Stamkos. And, he ends up scoring. Edited December 5, 2014 by Potato Quote
bunomatic Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 Grab a man Girgensons. I got on Hodgson last game for the same play so... ;) Quote
X. Benedict Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 Road games is really where the Sabres can get easily exposed with changes. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 (edited) Well this one is over Strachan doesn't look good tonight Edited December 5, 2014 by wyldnwoody44 Quote
Iron Crotch Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 Oh ######. We're sucking ass in the second period. Our third defensive pair was looking like a third pair on that third goal. Quote
SwampD Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4jGSvxCRp4 Road games is really where the Sabres can get easily exposed with changes. Good call. Quote
X. Benedict Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 Well this one is over Time to pull Enroth. Not his fault though. Rough night for Weber and Strachan. Quote
