bunomatic Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 I think I'll head on over to the tank thread. :( Good win boys ! Quote
Robviously Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Fitting, given how hard the Sabres are going to come crashing into earth today. LOL. Something something Corsi. Quote

LTS Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Look.. if they are going to play like this and beat teams like Montreal and Tampa before their deep prospect pool gets there then why are we worried? The Kings model has worked well hasn't it? Just remember, no matter what happens. They have 3 first round draft picks, in a deep draft.. the kind that see players like Getzlaf and Perry taken with those kinds of picks. Quote
Doohicksie Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Is this Hockey Heaven? Cuz this feels like Hockey Heaven. Quote
Robviously Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Is this Hockey Heaven? Cuz this feels like Hockey Heaven. If watching that game made you feel like you were in Heaven, what happens when we have a team that actually plays exciting hockey? Quote
sicknfla Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 First time in a LOOOONG time I was pulling for a win. And it felt good. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 We're 6 points out of a playoff spot now. And, three of our best players aren't old enough to legally drink. Quote
Doohicksie Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 (edited) If watching that game made you feel like you were in Heaven, what happens when we have a team that actually plays exciting hockey? Are you kidding? Winning games you have no right to win IS exciting! :w00t: I love the underdog aspect. Yes the Sabres still suck; I'll readily admit that, but THEY'RE WINNING. JJFIVEOH Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 BY THE PADDLE OF ETHRON! Stanley Cup here we come! He's stopped 14 of 15 shootout attempts, and 13 straight. Quote
Doohicksie Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 I'll also point this out: Against the best offense in the NHL, the Sabres allowed only 27 shots. That, my friends, is significant. I'll also throw this out there: Prior to his injury, Neuvirth was establishing himself as the #1 goaltender. Dare I say the Sabres may end up with a two-headed goalie monster? That wouldn't suck either. Quote
SwampD Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Was Teddy only rolling 2 lines from halfway through the third on? Quote
thewookie1 Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Wow, we actually played well most of the game and won against another top team. The world has been turned on its head as a 20 year old Latvian, a midget who's fast, and a beer company lead what was the worst team in the league to 6 wins in 7 games. Quote

nfreeman Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 ###### Myers ###### ###### skating apes ###### trade ###### ######. Team. v II. Both of these. I think. 6 out of 7. Holy mackerel. Nolan really is the horse whisperer. Quote
darksabre Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Both of these. I think. 6 out of 7. Holy mackerel. Nolan really is the horse whisperer. Combining Nolan and Girgensons is looking like everything we hoped it would be. The two of them together are leading a revolution. Quote
Eleven Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 This was awesome. A few thoughts: (1) That was the worst delay of game call in history. (2) This team Enroth is really starting to come together. Whenever Lalime or whatever his name is comes back, trade him. (3) The Sabs are almost as close to a playoff spot as they are to last place. Sorry, tankers. We're watching this team win. Two three game winning streaks in the last seven games. Four two game winning streaks. SIX one game winning streaks! Quote
Doohicksie Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Was Teddy only rolling 2 lines from halfway through the third on? I saw the fourth line out there late. Quote
matter2003 Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 WTF is this team doing??? Tim Murray must be swearing up a storm like the owner/GM in Major League...he put together a team that he thought would be last place easily and they are starting to win too many games now...3 straight against 2 of the best teams in the NHL no less... Doohicksie Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Enroth is easily playing the best he ever has. That's a pretty big deal. He actually had a good run a couple years ago during a Miller injury. Quote
Randall Flagg Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Enroth's save percentage the last five games: .963 .932 .968 .923 .977 Quote
