TrueBlueGED Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 The "I told you so" tour will be long, and it will be annoying :nana: We've definitely reached the point of no return. May I begin? :P Quote
carpandean Posted January 14, 2015 Author Report Posted January 14, 2015 Welcome back to 2013-14! Quote
Taro T Posted January 14, 2015 Report Posted January 14, 2015 Welcome back to 2013-14! Now, if only the Eulers would play nice and get back to their '13-'14 pace. Quote
Samson's Flow Posted January 14, 2015 Report Posted January 14, 2015 Welcome back to 2013-14! The recent sabres losing streak has the 2014-15 chart looking like a double diamond run. Yikes. Quote
MattPie Posted January 14, 2015 Report Posted January 14, 2015 Captain, we're at crush depth, if we don't stop this flooding we're going to lose her! Quote

carpandean Posted January 18, 2015 Author Report Posted January 18, 2015 Taking over as the worst record in the league and the worst Sabres record since at least the 2004-05 lockout in the very same game. Impressive. Quote
carpandean Posted January 30, 2015 Author Report Posted January 30, 2015 The Leafs just fell onto the Tank chart. Quote
qwksndmonster Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 The Leafs just fell onto the Tank chart. like clockwork, every year. God bless the Leaves. Quote
MattPie Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 The Sabres plot from game 18 or so to now looks like a cartoon mountain background. Also, did we ever decide whether the Y-axis should be frozen with a "here be dragons" note or adjust down to show the plot? I suppose it'd depend if there was more than one team down there. Quote
Taro T Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 The Leafs just fell onto the Tank chart. They've gotten to 50 already? (Just checked. Yup.) Quote
carpandean Posted January 31, 2015 Author Report Posted January 31, 2015 Don't laugh to hard at the Leafs ... it's still possible that the Sabres finish 29th and the Leafs win the draft Lottery. Quote

Well, the sabres historical stops at -30, so last year we were, in fact, eaten by dragons. Edited January 31, 2015 by Glass Case Of Emotion Quote
carpandean Posted February 1, 2015 Author Report Posted February 1, 2015 Well, the sabres historical stops at -30, so last year we were, in fact, eaten by dragons. I didn't think that they could possibly break -30 again. We may yet see the dragon this year. Quote
shrader Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 It does make me somewhat happy to see Toronto running parallel with us. Quote
MattPie Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 (edited) It does make me somewhat happy to see Toronto running parallel with us. Oh hell no, I want to see them running parallel to whomever is in 10th in the east. EDIT: On second thought, I'd rather see them make it in at 8th and either get blown out in the first round, or blow it in game 7 again. Edited February 2, 2015 by MattPie Quote
carpandean Posted February 3, 2015 Author Report Posted February 3, 2015 (edited) Trying out a new version of the tank chart. Like the playoffs chart, Tank 2 is net of a position (last place). You do lose games-in-hand on the worst team (for example, Edmonton won last night, but that cannot be reflected since the Sabres' 52nd game has not been played yet), but it shows the differences better. IKnowPhysics Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 We must drive the horde of mongrels to the top of the graph! Quote
LastPommerFan Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 I have one suggestion: Could you multiply the data by (-1)? I think it would better provide a CHL/Tank feel to the graph. Quote
