drnkirishone Posted November 30, 2014 Author Report Posted November 30, 2014 He's a finisher, plain and simple. I am just saying, next game watch whenever Stewart makes a pass. I have yet to see him connect on anything beyond 5 feet. It is getting to the point where I tell my self ok this one has to hit the tape Quote

I'm OK with that. Quote

Johnny DangerFace Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 The problem with Stewart is the contract he may require. He definitly has some skill and brings something to the game. I don't know if he is the goal scorer he once showed potential to be. I like him a lot, but I think I like him for a role he'll be to expensive for if that makes sense. Quote
dudacek Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 (edited) The trouble with Stewart is he doesnt work as hard as Drew Stafford. Edited December 1, 2014 by dudacek Quote
Two or less Posted December 1, 2014 Report Posted December 1, 2014 Statistically, the Sabres are the worst passing team in the league. Is Stewart the worst of them all? Idk. But considering that's not his role and he succeeds in other areas of the game, I don't think it matters much. His lack of passing gets washed away if he was playing on a better passing team where he could focus on the dirty areas of the ice. Quote
