... Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Haha! But Flynn shouldn't be in the NHL! That goal doesn't count. Quote
Nitro60 Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Back to back wins against one of the top teams in the NHL. Way to go Sabres. The Tank Corps is depressed for now. Quote
Eleven Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 That's 4 out of 5 and two straight against the Habs! Quote
biodork Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 You could hear a pin drop in that building right now. :D Quote
darksabre Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 That's 4 out of 5 and two straight against the Habs! Are we good now? Quote
Doohicksie Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 The Flynner Gio connection hooks up again! They have good chemistry. We've got chemistry here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epjrWjo9ZMY Quote
... Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Can we PLEASE get rid of the shootout? My god this is boring. I love shoot-outs. They're like the final, tense moments of an action flick where the main character has to make a final decision that ends the climax. Quote
Claude Balls Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Le Club Du Montreal???? Hahahahaha!!! Gonna be quiet tonight. Quote
darksabre Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Sabres are 5-1 in their last six and are now six points out of the playoffs. Quote
Claude Balls Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Okay, back to the Auburn/Alabama game. Here's hoping number one goes down, and it's looking good so far. Sabres are 5-1 in their last six and are now six points out of the playoffs. I'm starting to wonder if we need a McDavid or Eichel. Of course that would be great, but the Sabres are so young and seem to be coming together. I'm so confused!!!! Quote
Doohicksie Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Nikita doesn't fight much. He just hits. Sounds like Vladimir Konstantinov V2.0. I'm okay with that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clbyBCA4Tbs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SY8r0YM8D8w http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CE42NgFRWn8 I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I can't wait til Myers is gone. He is the biggest waste of a 6'8" body there is. And I was just thinking how glad I am the Sabres have him. Quote
bcsaberks Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Haha! But Flynn shouldn't be in the NHL! That goal doesn't count. Heh. "Waaaaa, Flynn is AHL player!" Shut it. Paul Hamilton. Parity, smart, hard worker, speed. It's good enough, and he seems like a solid dude. Sabres! Quote

Doohicksie Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 For traditions sake, yup: Beat them. Yes, that's the definitive version for stadium play. {media] [/media] Now do you believe?! Now do you believe?! Who here heard that in RJ's voice in your head? They're not there yet, but I like the progress over the least 7 or so games. That's 4 out of 5 and two straight against the Habs! No, actually 5 out of six. Quote
Robviously Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Sabres are 5-1 in their last six and are now six points out of the playoffs. How close do the Sabres need to be to a playoff spot on January 1st where we just say "F it" and go for it this year? If they win their next two (both against Tampa, so a tall order) that might be enough to call it right then and there. Quote

It was a terrible loss for hockey when he was crippled in a limo wreck while celebrating the Red Wings '97 Cup win. :( Here's hoping Nikita renews the legacy. :) Quote

Of course that would be great, but the Sabres are so young and seem to be coming together. I'm so confused!!!! That's the problem, unlike Edmonton, we actually have a vet leadership group and an assortment of prospects. As well as Edmonton has a bunch of last year Grigos. Honestly though, it seems like Edmonton just kept using the same wish list year after year regardless of the team's needs. Think about it, Hall, RNH, Yakopov, and Eberle are extremely similar. Only Drasital has real size among them. And not one of them went back to juniors. Just imagine them trading for Hodgson whom is cut from the same cloth. Quote
bcsaberks Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Flynn or Hodgson? If you had to pick one. Quote

But this whole new playoffs system means we have to compete for the Wildcard. If we're within 4 points of Toronto by January it's totally doable. Quote
Eleven Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Flynn or Hodgson? If you had to pick one. Are you kidding? Hodgson. I'll get 20 more Flynns hanging outside of the Pepsi Center. Quote
