spndnchz Posted November 28, 2014 Report Posted November 28, 2014 Season series: On Nov. 5, the Montreal Canadiens defeated the Buffalo Sabres 2-1 in a shootout. PA Parenteau scored in the third period, and then ended the game with a goal in the third round of the tiebreaker. Sabres goalie Jonas Enroth and Canadiens goalie Dustin Tokarski each made 31 saves in regulation and overtime. Robviously Posted November 28, 2014 Report Posted November 28, 2014 The Day-After-Thanksgiving games were my absolute favorite to go to -- a combination of the long weekend and the official start of Christmas season. I'll throw in a hockey take: Girgensons should score tonight. Quote
wjag Posted November 28, 2014 Report Posted November 28, 2014 Price is on a roll. He is 4-1 in his last 5 with victories over: BOS, PHL, STL and BOS. His loss, and it was a bad one was to PIT where he gave up 4 GAA. His last start was a SO of BOS in BOS. Quote
spndnchz Posted November 28, 2014 Author Report Posted November 28, 2014 Myers in, Benoit out. Gorges not back yet. Enroth vs Price Quote
LGR4GM Posted November 28, 2014 Report Posted November 28, 2014 Buffalo at home with Myers back. I would give an edge to Buffalo because our defense is solid but I think our forwards will yet again have trouble scoring. Quote

I think every team the Sabres play against this year, next year and probably the season after that will have the "edge". The troops are coming, just not very soon. Then the year after you gotta hope for Baptiste/andor Bailey with Compher going to Rochester. We just haven't reached the talent injection part of the rebuild yet. Although Nikita and Rasmus are quite good. Quote

wjag Posted November 28, 2014 Report Posted November 28, 2014 I predict a Montreal SO. I'll go with 3-0 Montreal with goals from Pacioretty, Gallagher, and Weise. Quote
apuszczalowski Posted November 28, 2014 Report Posted November 28, 2014 I think there's a chance it's a close game, montreal could give price a vacation this weekend without hurting their chances at winning Quote
Doohicksie Posted November 28, 2014 Report Posted November 28, 2014 Nolan conjures some motivational majick and the Sabres win 6-2. Quote

dudacek Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 Ive decided if I think of Stewart as our fourth-line enforcer, I will like him a whole lot better. Quote
Claude Balls Posted November 29, 2014 Report Posted November 29, 2014 Another great Rayzorism after the period. "Defensely they were great". Guy has his own dictionary. Quote
