bob_sauve28 Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 What's going on here? *Is this just a blip where they met a few teams that were tired and they had let downs against a weak team? Soon the Sabres will slip back to their non scoring ways and the tank will continue Or * Has this team turned a corner with talent rising to the top--Stachen, Mitchell and Flynn--leadership being established, the young kids stepping forward and Weber, Balls and Ms. Zero seeing less ice time? Quote
qwksndmonster Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 The team is finally developing some chemistry and trying hard. They're not going to keep winning consistently, but they just might keep things interesting/fun to watch. Full marks for Ms. Zero. Quote

It's the second one. We're not the worst team in the NHL this year. Quote

Still the worst team in the league. They continue to get out shot by a wide margin on a nightly basis. Hot goaltending and a few fortunate bounces won them a couple games here. It won't continue. qwksndmonster Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 Is the number one pick in danger of being lost?? Maybe? I'm not really worried about it at this point. Just going to enjoy the wins, and improved hockey. Quote
LTS Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 Yea. They beat some near .500 teams. The Leafs have the best record of the group and they beat'em up right in the middle of the Leafs taking a slide. The increased effort and chemistry are good but if they play some top tier teams and get smoked there might be a desire to change up the lines and then.. boom. Start it over again. I'm enjoying what's going on... while it is. Quote
apuszczalowski Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 There are teams just as bad, so I won't say they are hands down the worst team. They won't make the playoffs, but from the looks of things, it looks like they just needed time to gel and get used to each other, there's a bunch of new players playing with a lot of youth, it takes time to get everything in the same page. And like usual, it comes down to goaltending. Neuvirth was running away with the starting job and now that he's been out it seems enroth woke back up and wants it back. This team isn't a lock for the worst record. Quote
