darksabre Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 Enroth is a scream...he always looks barely in control, but when he's on, he's on. Perfect way to describe Enroth. Quote
Tondas Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 This is what I expected this year. Entertaining game. Quote
Stoner Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 OMG! This is fantastic! They could actually make a run at the playoffs! Hi, Rob. Quote

WildCard Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 Everyone talks about keeping our prospects in Rochester to have them learn to win/be a team together; develop some chemistry and comradery. We may not be winning a whole bunch, but it looks like they're starting to develop some comradery. You can have all the talent in the world on your team but if they guys hate each other and don't have fun, you'll never go far. Quote

Kaleta couldn't say enough good things this week about how much he appreciated the coaches and players checking in on him while he was snowed-in, and how things like that make you want to go that extra mile for your team. It matters. Quote
Stoner Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 I hate you. :D Let me channel the inner beautiful sunshine of Eleven here: FFS, no one ever made up eight points in 60 games?! Quote

JJFIVEOH Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 Strachan lead the TOI with 23:07. Good for him, glad he's getting his shot. Quote
Weave Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 There goes the tank. This is a short run in an long year. Lots to play out. Quote

It'll be interesting to see what happens when Gorges returns. Strachan has certainly earned his keep, though. Edited November 23, 2014 by biodork Quote

TheMatrix31 Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 We look competent. It's.....it's beautiful. Quote

D'oh, you replied before I could fix my typo, lol. Embarrassed. Could be Weber becomes the odd man out, but what about the pairings? Wasn't Gorges paired with Myers before? Quote
Robviously Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 This is a short run in an long year. Lots to play out. The Sabres aren't the worst team in hockey. We aren't finishing last. We can give up on being assured of getting Eichel at least. Quote
biodork Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 Nolan confirmed they're worried about a potential concussion with Cody Mac. Quote

Wasn't Gorges paired with Myers before? Yes he was. Even though it hurts the tank we should see Gorges come in and Meszaros ride the pine. our defense should be: Gorges Myers Zadarov Ristolainen Weber Strachan Works with the left vs right as well and puts our best 6 in the lineup right where they should be slotted. Hoss Posted November 23, 2014 Report Posted November 23, 2014 I've become so involved with the tank that I don't remember what it feels like to enjoy a win. At all. Quote

Makes sense. Was there ever any official word on Gorges? If there was, I missed it. Honestly, I'd forgotten he was out until I was looking earlier for injury info on Cody Mac. FWIW, WGR550 has Gorges listed as day-to-day. Quote
