... Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 Two in a freakin' row! It's the end days! Quote
I am Defecting Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 Now why don't you go back to your droughty conditions, you fracking-stoner-californian-wanna-be-new-yorkers. Go frack a fault line, you thirsty finless zombie sharks! Quote

Nitro60 Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 Good win for the Sabres on national TV Quote
MattPie Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 https://twitter.com/...903734137286656 Irbe in a Sabres Uni. Too soon to recycle Vinz's number. Quote
SwampD Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 If Gionta's interview was in black and white with crappy audio, I would have no problem believing he played in the 50's. Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 The last time the Sabres had a winning streak they beat the Sharks, at home, on a night where Enroth got the win yet wasn't scheduled to start. Quote
LastPommerFan Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 most impressive about this game is the 17,435 people who trekked through the frozen landscape of Hoth (I assume by Tauntaun) to attend the game: http://www.nhl.com/scores/htmlreports/20142015/ES020268.HTM Quote
Jeanbe Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 I thought they showed great poise in just getting it out of the zone with the goalie pulled and not trying to just try to get a lucky goal from their own side of the red line. I enjoyed this game. Quote

LastPommerFan Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 As much as I want to believe it, I think STH seats are counted if no one shows up. :( give it 10 years. Then we can just pull up pictures of the storm and the box score, and then tell everyone how tough people in buffalo are and how much they love their Sabres. Quote
Hoss Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 @BillHoppeNHL: Michal Neuvirth is more than day to day. #Sabres Quote
Mustache of God Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 This one. Indeed. Here's my take on the above. Not really sure how to attach photos here so hope this goes through. Quote
inkman Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 @BillHoppeNHL: Michal Neuvirth is more than day to day. #Sabres Poorly worded on Hoppe's part Quote

WildCard Posted November 19, 2014 Author Report Posted November 19, 2014 @BillHoppeNHL: Michal Neuvirth is more than day to day. #Sabres Wonder if that means Makarov comes up. Hopefully he actually sees a few games if he does, but I doubt it. Looks like it's Enroth's chance to win back the job he lost most impressive about this game is the 17,435 people who trekked through the frozen landscape of Hoth (I assume by Tauntaun) to attend the game: http://www.nhl.com/s...15/ES020268.HTM that's twice an average Carolina/Florida attendance. If there's one thing that always keeps me proud about Buffalo, it's how loyal/absurdly fanatic we are about our teams. Quote
Tondas Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 I just read an article where Irbe suited up for the second period on. Could he have played? If so, why couldn't a scratched player come down from the press box if needed every game? Is there a special rule for goalies? Quote
Norcal Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 The Gionta/Mitchell/Flynn line confused me at first but the more I see them play I can see why they were put together Zadorov contines to improve and I really like the Risto/Zad combo plus the fact that they are playing in all situations now Girgensons...just wow Neuvirth...it sucks that he got hurt, alot Quote
pastajoe Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 I'd prefer Makarov stay in Roch and get playing time rather then sit on bench in Buffalo. Get Marty Biron to fill in, he's already on the Pegula payroll at Harborcenter. I just read an article where Irbe suited up for the second period on. Could he have played? If so, why couldn't a scratched player come down from the press box if needed every game? Is there a special rule for goalies? Yes the rule is different for goalies. The league always wants two goalies dressed in case of injury. They had Irbe sign a pro contract between periods. He could have played. Quote
