Tondas Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 Only Sabres who showed up today: Risto, Girgs, Mitchell and Georges. Quote
Marvelo Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 Myers has got nothing. Get what you can for him TM. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 I've never seen a team that passes as poorly as the Sabres. It's like our guys have no idea where anyone is supposed to be on the ice. Nah, they're just really really really bad...(not sure if a laugh or cry emoticon is appropriate here). Serious question: would this team have a 50/50 chance in most games with Hasek in net? I honestly don't believe that they would. If they did, that would mean they could approach .500 on the season...I just don't see that as possible with this offense. On the other hand, our goal differential in the losses would look better :) Quote
Iron Crotch Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 Myers has got nothing. Get what you can for him TM. You're coming around to my point-of-view! I'd trade him for Detroit prospect Larkin in a second. We need speed up front and Larkin can fly. Quote

Hoss Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 It honestly seems like the trade talk is getting to Myers. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 I don't think Fleury even needs a shower after this one. His toughest test was in pre-game warmups. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 I'm there as well. I think I am too. If the price is right Quote

TrueBlueGED Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 It honestly seems like the trade talk is getting to Myers. Could be. And if that's the case, it certainly won't serve to quiet those who want him gone. Quote

darksabre Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 I like how Myers isn't allowed to have a single bad game. Quote
Mustache of God Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 Well, at least we're on pace to shatter the being shut out record. It's good to have goals to aim for. Quote
Claude Balls Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 Myers and Hodgson looking good again tonight. We should be able to get a third line center for them both.....right??? Haha, who wants either of them turds. Quote
ubkev Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 I like how Myers isn't allowed to have a single bad game. To be fair, I haven't liked him for 3 years. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 (edited) It's pretty obvious we'll finish dead last again this year. I'm sure there are politics at play in the decision, but I'd like to see Zadorov get some playing time. It's not like it'll hurt the team any. Through 12 games we've scored 13 goals. ...and given up 41. Edited November 2, 2014 by Potato Quote

Trade Myers for Larkin and play Zadorov the rest of the season? Quote
That Aud Smell Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 Shaping up as the single worst NHL team in history. That's something. Quote

This honestly doesn't even sound possible. I predicted they'd finish last and all, but I couldn't envision a scenario where they were worse than under Rolston. And yet, here we are... (Not complaining, given my stance, just observing) Quote
Stoner Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 Shaping up as the single worst NHL team in history. That's something. What is the precedent for teams this bad to be contenders in three-five-seven years? Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 What is the precedent for teams this bad to be contenders in three-five-seven years? If they end up worst ever, then technically there's no precedent either way ;) :P Quote
