Nitro60 Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 That did not last long. Extremely bad goal. Too much standing around like statues. They played a good, disciplined game but reverted to bad form in OT. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Hoy ###### how was he that open Lurch tired himself out on the offensive rush. Was just standing there like an out of breath giraffe in the defensive zone. Quote
Claude Balls Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Myers was atrocious tonight. Marchand seems to play better after he pretends to be hurt.....###### punk. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 That did not last long. Extremely bad goal. Just pathetic. A team that wanted it against a team happy to get a point Quote
Hoss Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 I thought Myers had a bad game, too. Bruins still scare him? Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Brad May: Sabres need to be proud with how the played. He is a Sabre Quote

SwampD Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 (edited) The Sabres played a great team game tonight. When it came to skill vs skill, though, in the OT they stood no chance. Not a bad point. I think I would rather the Isles get in then them just miss the playoffs at the hands of the Bruins, though. No way, With the Sabres' luck, we need as many balls in that lottery as we can get. Myers played a great game tonight. GREAT. He made so many strong plays that were so strong they went completely unnoticed. Yes he was on for the game winner but nobody else could get the puck out either and he was at the end of a long shift. Iron Crotch Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 We're the worst passing team I've ever seen. Quote

bob_sauve28 Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 I like Brad May but he says some goofy stuff Quote
Brawndo Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 I like Brad May but he says some goofy stuff He is much better then Rob Ray, but that is not saying much Quote
Tondas Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Lurch tired himself out on the offensive rush. Was just standing there like an out of breath giraffe in the defensive zone. That's so harsh and so true. Quote
HopefulFuture Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Disappointed in the lose, but I'm content in knowing that the team actually put some effort in to a game. Once again, Stafford and Ennis, but, a nice pass by Mitchell to Ennis on that goal. Wish Myers would put himself in position to shoot more, he's got a hell of a shot. Quote
Robviously Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 I hate to sound positive but do we have two really good goalies on this team? Quote
WildCard Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 I hate to sound positive but do we have two really good goalies on this team? I think so. Enroth may be small, but he has proven he can play at this level consistently. Quote
Brawndo Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 I hate to sound positive but do we have two really good goalies on this team? We do, the question is which one gets offered an extension? Quote
Tondas Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 This team is better without Meszaros. Quote
HopefulFuture Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 This team is better without Meszaros. You think that experiment is over now? And if so, he sits in the press box as a cap filler situation until the end of the season? God I hope so, because he sucks. Quote

God I hope so, because he sucks. It's bad enough Meszaros makes mistake after mistake, but he is a low effort guy as well. A guy like Weber lacks talent but at least he plays hard every night. Meszaros can't play and halfasses it most nights. Quote

And if so, he sits in the press box as a cap filler situation until the end of the season? God I hope so, because he sucks. If Leino was any indication, no. He'll get next to top minutes and a spot on the powerplay... *facepalm* Edited October 31, 2014 by Ottosmagic13 Quote
biodork Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Man, go figure... was listening to the game audio on my way home from work and while making dinner, and finished making dinner around the end of regulation, thinking now I can watch OT. By the time I loaded GCL it was already over. :( Seriously shocked they managed to score two (including one on the power play!), but sounds like they let the game get away from them in the 3rd. Baby steps, I guess. Quote
TheMatrix31 Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Had to be Brad Marchand, huh? That schnozztastic ######. Quote
TheFunPolice Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 unfortunately another point against us.... Carolina must be smiling My perfect night is a 7-6 Sabres loss in regulation Quote
LabattBlue Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 (edited) Myers is a mental midget... - 3:30 to go in regulation, he takes a pass in his own zone, crosses the blue line skating up the middle of the ice, and without any pressure on him, ices the puck(it was not an errant pass) - GWG, he is coming out from the corner, not only is the Marchand all alone in front of the net, but just as the pass is coming from behind the net to the rat, Myers is looking over his shoulder towards the boards. I kid you not. Watch the replay. WTF?? To all who think the Sabres are going to get a king's ransom in return for the marfan man if he is traded, you are dreamers.
