inkman Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 I figured this deserves it's own thread as they are playing in the B-Lo. Who's going? Not me as traveling from Rochester to Buffalo to see the Amerks seems a bit mindless. Lots of prospects to watch. Grigs, Larsson, pysyk, Mccabe, Carrier, Armia, whichever goalie they start. I bet it's a little extra hyped due to playing at the FNC. Quote
Robviously Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 I'm flying home for a few days tomorrow. If I was flying home today, I'd love to go to this. Quote
spndnchz Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 I've got tix and can't make it.  Quote
inkman Posted October 29, 2014 Author Report Posted October 29, 2014 Ah so no one is going. Bad things man, bad things? Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 Ah so no one is going. Bad things man, bad things? Work :( They need to stop having cool things on Wednesdays. Missed McDavid, now missing this. Bleh. Quote
WildCard Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 Pretty one sides affair so far In our favor Quote
LastPommerFan Posted October 30, 2014 Report Posted October 30, 2014 Armia to Grigorenko. 1-0 So much of this... so much. Quote
Hoss Posted October 30, 2014 Report Posted October 30, 2014 I lied about kt being 1-0. But it is 2-2 now. Armia off a face off win by Grigorenko. Quote
LastPommerFan Posted October 30, 2014 Report Posted October 30, 2014 sounds loud on the radio. It's weird. Quote
Johnny DangerFace Posted October 30, 2014 Report Posted October 30, 2014 Our ahl prospect core of larsson, armia, grigorenko, schaller, ruhwedel, pysyk, and mccabe don't look to shabby :) Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted October 30, 2014 Report Posted October 30, 2014 Could the Amerks beat the Sabres right now? Quote
Hoss Posted October 30, 2014 Report Posted October 30, 2014 Could the Amerks beat the Sabres right now? No. Quote
LastPommerFan Posted October 30, 2014 Report Posted October 30, 2014 No. what about last night? Quote
Hoss Posted October 30, 2014 Report Posted October 30, 2014 what about last night? Still no. It's a group of players who couldn't make it in the NHL versus a group of players who are just enough to make us wait two or three more years until we say that about them. Sprinkle in a couple prospects on both sides and that's what you get. Quote
LastPommerFan Posted October 30, 2014 Report Posted October 30, 2014 I want to see a line with Armia - Girgensons - Grigorenko We could call it the Baltic Connection. Quote
CallawaySabres Posted October 30, 2014 Report Posted October 30, 2014 I like the Amerk's jerseys and team better than the Sabres Quote
WildCard Posted October 30, 2014 Report Posted October 30, 2014 I want to see a line with Armia - Girgensons - Grigorenko We could call it the Baltic Connection. Armia and Grigs seem to have developed some chemistry as the castoffs. Lets hope it continues Quote

Towards the end of last year we were icing basically an AHL team...and this year's team is currently playing worse (I say currently playing because I don't expect it to continue to be this bad). I think the Sabres would win...but it wouldn't be an 8-1 blowout. Quote
