K-9 Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 Is it because Hodgson just isn't working there and they just don't have another option at center? Foligno is a winger IMO I think they are playing hard it's the total lack of talent that's the problem No doubt he isn't being helped by the talent and you're right, it starts there. That said, I don't want him anywhere near our talented team when we finally get one. I just don't think he's a good coach anymore. GO BILLS!!! Quote

qwksndmonster Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 A cynic might say this is what tight-fisted, small-market teams do. Demoralize the goal-scorers. They cost money. TP might be the least tight-fisted owner ever. Dude paid like 30 million dollars to Ehrhoff straight up so we wouldn't have to deal with *possible* future cap issues. Myers is cocky and confident again. Do we see a bout with him and John Scott? Only if he wants a concussion. I'm glad everyone else is as pissed as I am about how Nolan is handling the young guys (you know, the only important players on the roster). No PP time for Reinhart is the biggest WTF. Kid is having trouble battling but has shown some pretty slick passing instincts. Maybe giving him space would help? Nah, give him 5 minutes a night between 2 plugs. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 Glad to see Stewart bumped up to play with our "top" line Quote
... Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 One of the better camera angles in the league. Quote
dudacek Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 Reinhart isn't playing because he's not ready. The only reason he's up is to show him what he needs to do to be ready. He seems like a grounded kid, so it might work. I think the plan for Risto is give him shielded minutes early and work him into a more prominent position as he gets better as the year goes on. At Christmas time I will be too frustrated to remember being OK with this and I wont remember even posting this when it actually happens. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 They look more relaxed and fluid...so far Quote
... Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 If the Sabres were any other team that would have been a penalty. Quote

Risto really likes trying to line up guys and isn't afraid of the contact Quote
biodork Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 Wtf, boarding! At least the team responds. Glad Gionta is okay. Quote
Brawndo Posted October 25, 2014 Author Report Posted October 25, 2014 (edited) Wtf, boarding! At least the team responds. I am surprised they did not get a penalty on the response? Edited October 25, 2014 by BRAWNDO Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 I feel the refs don't actually wanna do anything today.... They missed a lot of little things that are typically called then that board, then no call on the response either, it's like old school officiating.... I don't hate it Quote
dudacek Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 In this mess, it's been hard to appreciate how reliable Gorges has been. Quote

Robviously Posted October 25, 2014 Report Posted October 25, 2014 We were definitely the better team that period. For what that's worth. Quote
