Brawndo Posted October 23, 2014 Report Posted October 23, 2014 Second game of the four game road trip. Last night's game had the Blue and Gold playing one of their most complete games of the season. Enroth in goal tonight most likely. Quote
bcsaberks Posted October 23, 2014 Report Posted October 23, 2014 Good write-up on McNabb from Kings website http://lakingsinsider.com/2014/10/22/evolving-usage-for-mcnabb-who-faces-his-former-team/ Quote
SabresBillsFan Posted October 23, 2014 Report Posted October 23, 2014 Don't worry it's another loss. The other bottom teams have to start creating separation from the Sabres. We could have the top spot in the basement by December. Quote

The first is how refreshing it was to hear a coach actually talk hockey. Something other than "lack of effort and we will find out who wants to play". The second was I think we let a pretty good kid go. Quote
wjag Posted October 23, 2014 Report Posted October 23, 2014 Another fatten you stats game for the opponent. Last night, Perry took advantage.. Who will be tonight's hero? Quote
bcsaberks Posted October 23, 2014 Report Posted October 23, 2014 Jeebus, there's 500+ comments on that article. Yeah I noticed that too. Impressive. OT, but they are very good at marketing, written up in a trade pub this week. Stanley gets an assist there though. Quote

sicknfla Posted October 23, 2014 Report Posted October 23, 2014 Will tonight be the night that MAYBE Hodgson, Stafford, Stewart, Moulson, or Gionta decide to join our list of 4 goal scorers? That is ridiculous. Quote

LGR4GM Posted October 23, 2014 Report Posted October 23, 2014 Buffalo Sabres Zadorov will make his season debut tonight. Reinhart will be a healthy scratch. #Sabres will dress 11 forwards and 7 D Now we can all stop the Zadorov wine n cheese fest that has been going on Quote
qwksndmonster Posted October 23, 2014 Report Posted October 23, 2014 Nikita! Something to watch! Huzzah! Quote
Iron Crotch Posted October 23, 2014 Report Posted October 23, 2014 I hear Nikita refuses to wear a cup. He's one tough SOB. Quote
qwksndmonster Posted October 23, 2014 Report Posted October 23, 2014 wait wait wait. Why are we dressing 7 D? Looks like the whining isn't over yet, Liger. Quote
Taro T Posted October 23, 2014 Report Posted October 23, 2014 If any game is going to be a trap game for the Kings, this is it. They've only scored 14 in 6 games (yeah, yeah, the Sabres would give up a couple of 2nds for that kind of production) and almost definitely won't be playing Quick. Very difficult to get 'up' for a game against a team this bad. With a couple of breaks, the Sabres are in this one. wait wait wait. Why are we dressing 7 D? Looks like the whining isn't over yet, Liger. Does it really matter whether it's a D or a F that takes up 4 minutes of game ice? This team has essentially been playing 11-6 so far, this move doesn't likely materially alter that. Quote

The Ducks sleepwalked through most of that game. Quote

Quick has been much of the reason. Quote
WildCard Posted October 23, 2014 Report Posted October 23, 2014 (edited) Here's an interesting stat LA: S/GP = 25.2, SA/GP = 36.0, GA/GP = 1.67 Buffalo: S/GP = 23.4, SA/GP = 37.3, GA/GP = 3.71 Edited October 23, 2014 by WildCard Quote

... Posted October 23, 2014 Report Posted October 23, 2014 FWIW, before we see what Zadarov can do, I want to say that I've come around to the idea of trading Myers while he still has the mythic cloud surrounding him. Quote

I only want to trade him if I know zadorov, Risto, McCabe and to a lesser extent Pysyk are all going to be top 4 D. If so, trade away. Quote
LastPommerFan Posted October 24, 2014 Report Posted October 24, 2014 wait wait wait. Why are we dressing 7 D? They figured that after the last 3 games, they'd need to bring some extra D to even make us notice. Quote
Derrico Posted October 24, 2014 Report Posted October 24, 2014 They figured that after the last 3 games, they'd need to bring some extra D to even make us notice. Well we're last in the league in goals for. Ofcourse we can get away with dressing less forwards. Quote
