Ottosmagic13 Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Joe Yerdon @JoeYerdon 2m2 minutes ago Bruins say Kevan Miller will not return to tonight's game. Don't mess with Deslauriers!! Nice to see someone with a physical presence...meanwhile Ickey could probably shoot better with a sub made from his cold cuts than the sabres Quote
Brawndo Posted October 19, 2014 Author Report Posted October 19, 2014 Why is Hodgson on the point on the PP? He doesn't score and he cannot hold the puck in at the point. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Brad May has done a good job from what little I have seen of him so far I was thinking that last game. I think May is a great addition. Quote

SwampD Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 I know that LGR and I have had a pretty good dust-up over this, but Hodgson couldn't sniff Derrik Roy's jock AS A SABRE. He will not be on a Sabres SC contending team. Quote

The Sabres don't have talent. It why they aren't winning. It's not because they aren't trying to shoot hard or avoid the goalie. Their hand eye coordination is less than their peers. These peers do more hockey things better leading to their teams winning. If and when the Sabres acquire some players with this talent, they will start winning again. Quote

Ottosmagic13 Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Risto seams uneasy on his feet tonight, he's been shouldered off his feet (and the puck) several times Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Why is Hodgson on the point on the PP? He doesn't score and he cannot hold the puck in at the point. He looks terrible all over. Not physical, doesn't make plays, what does he bring to the table? Quote

He will not be on a Sabres SC contending team. +1. He may never play on any cup contending team. He simply takes up space and eats minutes. No fire. Quote

SwampD Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Yeah this makes me :( What makes you :( , that fact that I said it or that I'm right? Quote

He will not be on a Sabres SC contending team. Roy is playing great for the (undefeated) Preds. He is getting a ton of ice time and looks very good paired with Philip Forsberg. Roy is for sure better than CoHo. I don't even see an argument there. Quote

Claude Balls Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 WNY teams not faring well against Boston teams tonight. BC 4-0 over RIT in the 2nd. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Lose faceoff. Give up goal. Quote
3putt Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Risto seams uneasy on his feet tonight, he's been shouldered off his feet (and the puck) several times So has Myers, Beano, Mezzaros, weber and to a lesser extent Jorges. Quote
biodork Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Ugh way to waste Jorges' effort on that last shift. Quote
CallawaySabres Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Yay, our goalies all suck too. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Should have played Noy-vert tonight. Quote
3putt Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Interesting tv shot of a Bruins coach talking and I assume coaching a player during the game. Is that legal? If so the Sabres might consider doing that. Quote
