Claude Balls Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Wow, Hodgson looks horrible as per usual. Chasing Chara around like a little kid. Quote
CallawaySabres Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Can anyone honestly say they feel any emotion during this train wreck? Quote

Jeanbe Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 I feel no emotion and constantly ask myself...did I really buy center ice for this? But I'll still watch and cheer. . Quote
SwampD Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Myers,… how in the fook do you fire it wide from there?! Quote
russ Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Rob Ray either had dental work 5 minutes before faceoff or he forgot his dentures. Quote
Claude Balls Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Sabres making this Sweatberg kid look like an all star by shooting every puck into his crest. At least the shots that are on goal. Quote
Tondas Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Played one of their better periods, still down 2-0. Quote
Brawndo Posted October 18, 2014 Author Report Posted October 18, 2014 SABRES LEAD IN SOG ATTEMPTS!!! Quote
inkman Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Sabres making this Sweatberg kid look like an all star by shooting every puck into his crest. At least the shots that are on goal. I'll take umbrage with this every time it's posted. They aren't TRYING to hit him there. It's just not smart hockey analysis. Right behind, they need to pass better and "shoot" on the PP. Ugly PP so far. :( I never want to see another Sabre under 5'10". Gionta looks like a gnat on the ass of every Bruin. It's embarrassing. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 Rob Ray either had dental work 5 minutes before faceoff or he forgot his dentures. He just babbles. We all love the guy, but he has no business doing color analysis of an NHL team. Quote
Claude Balls Posted October 18, 2014 Report Posted October 18, 2014 So apparently the Sabres don't have the players talented enough to pick corners or tuck one inside the post? Did you see where both Boston goals hit the net? Quote
inkman Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 So apparently the Sabres don't have the players talented enough to pick corners or tuck one inside the post? Did you see where both Boston goals hit the net? Yes and yes. The Sabres are bereft of talented players whose ability to do things in the NHL is limited because of said deficiencies. He just babbles. We all love the guy, but he has no business doing color analysis of an NHL team. His delivery is kinda endearing in a drunk Canadian next door kinda way. It's the vocab that murders the ear drums. "I seen em do good job there" Quote
JJFIVEOH Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 He just babbles. We all love the guy, but he has no business doing color analysis of an NHL team. I like him. He adds some personality to the game and an on-ice perspective that an ex-player couldn't point out. I can't think of a better person. Quote
Claude Balls Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 That I can agree with. Just seems like once players come to Buffalo they forget how to shoot the puck like they have been taught their whole lives. Quote
BuffaloBorn Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 (edited) You know the only reason why Zdeno "CHAIR-UH" scored is because the broadcaster prounounced it that way Edited October 19, 2014 by BuffaloBorn Quote
Claude Balls Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 I would quote the posts I'm responding to, but can't seem to do it on this Galaxy S5. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Does it even matter if a Bruin goes to the box? Our power play doesn't score. Quote
Ottosmagic13 Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 The whole (lack of) quality shots thing is something that I've noticed all season...I believe one game I described it as looking like they were shooting with cooked noodles. Absolutely no power and ZERO placement. Some of the shots have missed the net by more than the distance to the net and not in a shot-pass kind of way. Stewart placing 4 shots in under 30 seconds into the shins of the defense is just icing on the cake. Quote
SwampD Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Another bonus to this year, more away team fans than home team fans. Awesome. Quote
Brawndo Posted October 19, 2014 Author Report Posted October 19, 2014 Joe Yerdon @JoeYerdon 2m2 minutes ago Bruins say Kevan Miller will not return to tonight's game. Don't mess with Deslauriers!! Quote
Iron Crotch Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 We may never score again this season. :( Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 He just babbles. We all love the guy, but he has no business doing color analysis of an NHL team. Brad May has done a good job from what little I have seen of him so far Quote
