LastPommerFan Posted October 17, 2014 Report Posted October 17, 2014 What can I say? I work for a helluva cool company. I wonder how much they cost? if they're building a new generation test-rig each year, leading up to a prototype, they can 't possibly cost more than $30-$40M in terms of parts and labor. Negligible fuels costs (literally run on water), probably some significant maintenance an monitoring, assuming a 30 year life, your looking at around $10/MWh, like half the cost of Hydro (current cheapest) and a quarter the cost of even the dirtiest coal plants. That's some disruptive technology right there. Quote
