Ottosmagic13 Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 10 SOG.....what a joke. This team is brutal and I thought they could hang w most teams. This is embarrassing. The worst part is they have all been craptastic shots, weak wrist shots and shoveled back hands everything else has been blocked or wide by a mile Quote
SabresBillsFan Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Wow I just paid money to go to two losing games coming up in Anaheim and Los Angeles. That's great! At least get some shots on net but geee this is bad and I mean bad. Quote
WildCard Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 (edited) Tomorrows game isnt on tv? Edited October 13, 2014 by WildCard Quote
LabattBlue Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 (edited) 44-12 is not bad. It's an embarrassment to Pegs. It is worthy of heads rolling. Edited October 13, 2014 by LabattBlue Quote

Taro T Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Tomorrows game isnt on tv? Pretty sure it's on NBCSN. (snicker) Quote
Iron Crotch Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 I'll stand by my statement since Nolan took over. He is just a placeholder. I don't expect him to be here by the end of next season...at the latest. When your team gets outshot by a 4-to-1 margin at home, the coach can't be completely absolved of at least some blame. Interestingly, when I talked to Goose after last season, he hinted that not all Sabres players were big fans of Nolan. And, he said surprisingly good things about Rolston. Quote
skaught Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 I feel like the Sabres wouldn't even be a good AHL team. Quote
Jsixspd Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Awful totally uninteresting hockey by the Sabres this season so far. 4 goals in 3 games = 1.3 goals per game. Some have deemed the Sabres "entertaining" to watch this season; I call it a yawn fest and a shambles. Interestingly, when I talked to Goose after last season, he hinted that not all Sabres players were big fans of Nolan. And, he said surprisingly good things about Rolston. The worst part is they have all been craptastic shots, weak wrist shots and shoveled back hands everything else has been blocked or wide by a mile The team is clearly missing Ville Leino. Quote

Mustache of God Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 I'm shocked at how bad they're playing. Where is the compete? Were they this bad last year, it's hard to think that far back when I've tried so hard to block it from my memory. A quick look reveals this after 3 games last year. 2013 1st 3 Games: Sabres goals: 2 Goals Against: 7 Sabres Shots: 76 Shots Against: 115 2014 1st 3 Games: Sabres goals: 4 Goals Against: 14 Sabres Shots: 57 Shots Against: 131 We've doubled our goal output but have also doubled our goals against. It's gonna be a long season without miller. Quote
SabresBillsFan Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 (edited) And all this trade talk about Myers is still happening. God if they trade Myers this team will hit rock bottom I can't remember a team being this bad. Getting outscored and getting outshot as bad as they are. Doohicksie Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Sabres are treating this like a pick up game. What better way to pick up McDavid? Quote
Tondas Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Today was shockingly bad. I thought they would be better. The roster is better than last year, isn't it? Quote
bunomatic Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 I feel like I just got Goosed. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Goose has had a good start. 4 points and a +5 from Goose so far this year. I'll see him tomorrow night as the Preds take on Calgary. Quote
bunomatic Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Anyhoo. We all knew they'd be dreadful this year. Some believed that all those bodies TM added in the offseason just to make the floor would actually improve this team. If you read what the experts had to say about Buffaloes chances and the predictions of how we'd do those guys were spot on. Almost nobody had much improvement for this squad. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Here is a thought... what if Tim Murray doesn't know what the hell he is going? ;) I personally don't think that is the case, but just thought I'd throw it out there... Quote

Tondas Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Where is the legendary TN work ethic? That's what I'm most disappointed in. Quote
LabattBlue Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Where is the legendary TN work ethic? That's what I'm most disappointed in. I wonder if Nolan is bitter over his buddy being shown the door just after he came back? Quote

I'm shocked as well especially since he has his coaches in here. These next two games are against Carolina and Florida before heading west to Anaheim and Los Angeles. Quote
