wjag Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 Calgary w/ 3 goals on 5 shots in the 3rd drops 2 points to the Cats. Loving Calgary this week. They have been fantasy gold.
kas23 Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 I'm expecting another shutout tonight. Too bad the league doesn't award you 3 points for them.
calti Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 Things couldn't be better. Another win tonite AND the team is giving a good effort and playing fairly well.
pi2000 Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 4 point night for McDavid 3 point night for Eichel (so far) 2 point night for Buffalo in the CHL the hockey Gods have been kind these past couple days. Let's see what Reinhart can do tonight after scoring 2 in his first game yesterday.

3putt Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 Patrick Roy is an early contender for the Jack Hoff award. The job he is doing with that lineup is truly remarkable.

I think it's really strange what's going on down there. I haven't been paying them much attention, but they seem like one of those rare teams to go from basement to playoffs in 1 season.

They had 112 points, finished 2nd in the West and went out in the first round. They have to learn to hold onto the puck if they want that to happen again. Edited November 9, 2014 by ubkev

Johnny DangerFace Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 (edited) I do think they are talented enough to go on some decent winning streaks. But last year was no doubt flukey Edited November 9, 2014 by Numark

I haven't been paying them much attention, but they seem like one of those rare teams to go from basement to playoffs in 1 season. their problem is defense. Giving up bad goals and soft goaltending. Varlamov was incredible last season, singlehandedly keeping them in games. They'll get better.

I don't know who they have down on the farm, but probably a great prospect or two to send back to us.
dudacek Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 Tyler Myers and Cody Hodgson for Ryan O'Reilly
Hoss Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 Tyler Myers and Cody Hodgson for Ryan O'Reilly  Yes yes yes. But it'd take more than that.
3putt Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 Yeah with a lineup littered with high draft picks including a #1 overall. Comforting. But too few on defense. Take comfort in that.
Brawndo Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 Oil pickup the loss in NY... Nice. Need CBJs to get healthy
bob_sauve28 Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 Yeah with a lineup littered with high draft picks including a #1 overall. Comforting. Same with Edmonton

Hoss Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 Maybe time to add a "possible points" column? That'll help round out everything else.
