Thanks again taro for starting this thread and updating the standings. It made this season bearable
North Buffalo Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 To be honest I'm kinda numb right now. The third was the first time I felt nervous all year. Was even more scared when the Sabres pulled the goalie.. I was thinking just don't do it... Why?
TrueBlueGED Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 Fake Darcy @FakeDarcy 10s10 seconds ago .@ArizonaCoyotes We'll do this every year until we get it right. This is my promise to you. Still good after all this time
Claude_Verret Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 Tonight we feast on the bones of the carrion!
North Buffalo Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 Tonight we feast on the bones of the carrion! Coyote howl somewhere... Yip Yip Yahooooooooo. Can I see a pic of the trophy?
Taro T Posted April 11, 2015 Author Report Posted April 11, 2015 Thanks again taro for starting this thread and updating the standings. It made this season bearable You're very welcome. Thank X for the idea of the Carrion. Stole the name and the initial entrants from him. I really hoped people would have fun w/ this, because this season was flat out miserable. Needed somewhere to laugh at the absurdity of it all.
pi2000 Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 This thread needs to be locked and pinned until we win a real Cup. I hereby nominate Can Atkinson for the Rocket Rishart.
K8prisoner Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 Thanks goes out to Taro and Tank Hoss for the amazing work all year in this thread i completely second that... quite entertaining... thank you.
Eleven Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 "The term is over, the holidays have begun. The dream has ended: this is the morning." CS Lewis. We will awake tomorrow. We will be friends. We will live in Hockey Heaven.
beerme1 Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 (edited) We still have to come up w/ award winners. It can't close just yet. Agreed! I already gave Claude_Verret the MVP with my vote for the faith and confidence he always displayed. But you Taro, You get the Art Ross! Inspirational genius coming with this and seeing it all the way through. Edit: Forgot that Tank had it first and you carried it though to glorious conclusion. You get the Vezina then And Hoss for Art Ross. The Shart, is ours. The Shart, is ours. Never in the history of the world has a last place team fighting for the position to the end meant so much to so many people. Party on Shartheads. We won :w00t: Edited April 11, 2015 by beerme1

pastajoe Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 I'd give the Rocket Rishart to Jonathan Toews for those 2 late goals last week.
3putt Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 Could we petition BU to sit Eichel tomorrow to keep him safe? No. We want Kariya stats to smash
Taro T Posted April 11, 2015 Author Report Posted April 11, 2015 I'd give the Rocket Rishart to Jonathan Toews for those 2 late goals last week.Interesting call. Was thinking more along the lines of Hodgson or Gagner, but that might work.

WildCard Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 I'm excited for the CHL awards. Do we have the trophies/nominees down yet?

North Buffalo Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 It will nice next season to actually depend on regular points and not this backward linear coefficient p value statical estimation of finishing last. So it will be the chances of finishing first, now I have to listen to local sports radio talk about the insufferable Strangers. I hope they lose in the first round... P.S. Matt Harvey looked awesome yesterday...
Taro T Posted April 11, 2015 Author Report Posted April 11, 2015 I'm excited for the CHL awards. Do we have the trophies/nominees down yet? We've got about 3/4 of them figured out. Hopefully we can lock out the rest of them before the playoffs begin; give arguments/debates about who should 'win' in the 1st round; vote in the 2nd; announce winners / jeer them in the 3rd; and then never speak of this again by the NHL finals. ;)

When someone speaks of it, What are you talking about?
... Posted April 11, 2015 Report Posted April 11, 2015 now we just have to worry about Murray trading the pick..... DAAHA. DADHAHAHAA!! I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING~! It's possible, ya know, that he does. Thanks goes out to Taro and Tank Hoss for the amazing work all year in this thread Hear, hear! And TBphD, too. He was better than Lucy, and cost less, too.
