WildCard Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 Even if the Yotes lose out, we have to go .500 to pull ahead of them
3putt Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 "I'll see your Conner Murphy and raise you a Mike Webber." Too rich for my blood.

kas23 Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 I just read on ESPN that the Sabres are on a 4 game "skid". It's must've been written by someone with great knowledge of the Shart.
pi2000 Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 BUF @COL, ARI @ PIT on Sat. Game of the Weak part deux in 4 days.
woods-racer Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 Do feel bad for Ennis, hope the young man is alright, would like to see him get 20 goals this season.
TrueBlueGED Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 6 point lead now? With 8 left? 7 really because there's no way they catch us on ROW.
bunomatic Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 I just read on ESPN that the Sabres are on a 4 game "skid". It's must've been written by someone with great knowledge of the Shart. I laughed. He said skid. Heh heh
Hoss Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 Weird coincidence: we clinched a top five pick on the exact same day both seasons (March 26).

Weave Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 The stars are aligning To lose the lottery again?
nobody Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 To lose the lottery again? It's a minimum 80% chance of losing the lottery. Losing the lottery is a given.
SabresFuture Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 How's everyone feeling about our chances? I have been feeling really good obviously, especially with a 6 and 7 point lead with 8 games left. However, being a Buffalo sports fan, you always consider the worst possibilities.

However, being a Buffalo sports fan, you always consider the worst possibilities. I feel better about it, but we're not out of the woods yet. ARI (and EDM) have difficult schedules down the stretch while BUF plays ARI, CBJ, TOR and CAR. I could see BUF getting at most another 10 NHL points, unlikely, but possible if a goalie heats up? The second ARI game is just as important as the first was. Ennis' status is also a huge deal. I love the guy and don't want him hurt, but it will help if he misses the next 2 games.

They can win 3 of 8 even if the Yotes and Eulers lose out. Any points those 2 gain give the Sabres even more of a buffer. Too bad Gionta scored late or they could've been able to go 0.500 w/ no issues and no external help necessary.
