LastPommerFan Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 Man I hope they start Hackett. That will fix everything.... :wallbash:
WildCard Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 Nashville went from ~3 goals/game to ~1.7 goals/game according to the announcers, not sure Hackett has too much to worry about anyhow
Thorner Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 (edited) This is far beyond throwing up in disgust though. I'd say that would be the boos of the first half of season. This is strategically demanding to continue being fed this $#!t diet, because you know you're body will look better for it. Interesting insight into the psyche of the fan. It is interesting, but I think it's more a case of the fans thinking, hey, we've gone this far down the tank road this season, there's only 11 games left, better finish it off now and get a generational talent, rather than be in a position of needing to do this whole thing AGAIN next season. Edit: Although I would hope that no matter where we finish this season, the focus from everyone involved next year is completely on winning. Edited March 22, 2015 by Thorny

If there was a guy twice as good as McDavid coming out next year, I would never consider the tank for another year....never. 1 year is all I got and all I will ever have.

Think we can all agree we do not want to experience this again.

Don't sell yourself short, you've almost made it through 2 full tanks.
GrassValleyGreg Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 (edited) Alright! Don't see us with two goals tonight. Onto the Zona game, whose up 1-0 at home and outshooting the Pens 17-10! Here we go Desert Dogs! Edited March 22, 2015 by GrassValleyGreg
CallawaySabres Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 Don't sell yourself short, you've almost made it through 2 full tanks. Yes, but this is the only years I ever really wanted losses.
GrassValleyGreg Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 Christ, Mike Smith just shot it in his own net. The shart is strong in Zona.
Claude_Verret Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 (edited) Christ, Mike Smith just shot it in his own net. The shart is strong in Zona. They've got their goalie in on the tank! That was brutal. Victory for our Sabres! Edited March 22, 2015 by Claude_Verret
Sabrestrike Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 The incompetent goaltending is definitely keeping Zona and Edmonton in this race. So odd that Buffalo's potpourri of average goalies have actually done much better than Scrivens and Smith, two guys who should be at least league average.
calti Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 Christ, Mike Smith just shot it in his own net. The shart is strong in Zona. which brings up the hypothetical i mentioned a few weeks ago.........as long as it looks like mistake...what can the nhl do?
kas23 Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 which brings up the hypothetical i mentioned a few weeks ago.........as long as it looks like mistake...what can the nhl do? It's' getting out of control. From this angle, it doesn't even look like a mistake: http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/2015/3/21/8271401/coyotes-goalie-shoots-puck-off-penguins-players-butt-into-his-own-net

You just can't fix stupid, perfect for a tank...
Taro T Posted March 22, 2015 Author Report Posted March 22, 2015 Weird seeing Roby advertising "local" Yancey's Fancy on the DD's broadcast.
Johnny DangerFace Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 okay 5 min left in the ARI game and they are down by one going on the PP. Let's hope we see a good PP slapper
LastPommerFan Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 If he did that a hundred times he would only score maybe once? You just can't fix stupid, perfect for a tank... If you clear the puck from behind the net directly at 2 opposing players, it's gonna result in a goal a lot of the time. TAKE AWAY THEIR PICK!

Our goaltenders will be scoring shart-tricks!
biodork Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 Weird seeing Roby advertising "local" Yancey's Fancy on the DD's broadcast. Yeah, I've seen that, too... they even have an ad on the boards at Gila River! Very odd.
Johnny DangerFace Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 (edited) Crap Fleury has played great in the 3rd. He just had a nice glove save with a minute left That's game. ARI keeping pace. At least EDM has a 1 goal lead, if they win we will have some decent separation on them Edited March 22, 2015 by Vlad Dangerslakov
woods-racer Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 Worst game the Pens have played in the last 5 (Carrion speak), dam them.
GrassValleyGreg Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 No help from Zona. Man do they have a tank advantage playing hockey in that state. Crowd is 80% opponent nightly. Dallas an impressive win tonight. Lets take care of business there and get ready for 3/26/15.
