3putt Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 Seriously though the players don't seem to care. They should be playing for their jobs unless bonuses are being awarded for laying down. Even Edmonton can't ###### this up....right? :ph34r:Comrade don't even go there...this is the CHL.
WildCard Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 Seriously though the players don't seem to care. They should be playing for their jobs unless bonuses are being awarded for laying down. Are you referring to Toronto's? I would imagine those in Buffalo have much, much more to look forward to in comparison; even if you take out McEichel. The Leaf's players know what's coming in the summer: the rebuild, the trades, losing your job, relocating your family....it's probably all they think about. At least our players, most being AHL lifers, are excited to have a shot in the big leagues, or else realize this is the last year of this .
LGR4GM Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 Even Edmonton can't ###### this up....right? shhhhhhhh 4-1... I blame WILD!
WildCard Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 shhhhhhhh  You're right though, I get real superstitious for sports, I'll be nervously watching that score until it's officially over now.
LGR4GM Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 The leaf announcers talking about how young an fragile the Oilers are... look in a mirror boys

That so move by Varrone could be his lasting memory of his nhl career
MattPie Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 Toronto's players don't even have the hope that "Hey, maybe I'll catch on with McEichel and end up on his wing next year".
TrueBlueGED Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 Toronto's players don't even have the hope that "Hey, maybe I'll catch on with McEichel and end up on his wing next year". If they win the lottery you're my official scapegoat.

... Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 If they win the lottery you're my official scapegoat. You can't go there. LGR, perhaps, but you, nope. Sorry. You handed in your "average sports Joe" card seasons ago.

GrassValleyGreg Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 Nugent-Hopkins and Eberle playing top notch hockey, and Hall is close to returning. Big blowout loss to start their 6 game homestand. All of which are losable. 13 more!!!

Doohicksie Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 A decent night for the tank. The Sabres didn't embarrass themselves and still managed to put up a CHL point. The Eulers failed miserably. Now if only the Coyotes could give away a point.... Not likely though. Gawd they look awful.
Hoss Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 Arizona couldn't muster up a goal (or did, in CHL lingo). Tomorrow will be an important game to knock off that pesky game in hand.
Doohicksie Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 So. After watching the Coyotes I feel much better about the Sabres. Boy they're brutal.
pi2000 Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 Looking like the two games vs ARI could decide The Shart. Next 4 for ARI COL, PIT, VAN, @DET. 5 of 8 CHL points would be gimongus. BUF next 4 @BOS, NJD, @NSH, @DAL. 6 of 8 CHL points at worst. That would put ARI 6 down of BUF heading in to the first matchup at BUF.

X. Benedict Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 Thank God Toronto had a big head start in points.....they are the worst team in hockey. Toronto is a disaster.
