beerme1 Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 This is going to sound cold, but Fasth getting hurt is great news for the Sabres race to the Shart. How so? Are they trading for Neuvie?
Brawndo Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 Yotes went the second period without a shot on goal.
TrueBlueGED Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 How so? Are they trading for Neuvie? Fasth is Lindback-bad.
WildCard Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 Yotes went the second period without a shot on goal. That's just impressive

IKnowPhysics Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 CHL race is heating up. Toronto front office has declared total war. Yotes refuse to shoot on net. Edmonton's injuring anyone who can help them get points. Buffalo's trading for players on the IR. It's anarchy out here.
IKnowPhysics Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 This just in: Toronto attempting to recreate the 1955 Richard Riot, one of only four known forfeits in NHL history (Wanderers twice pre-folding in 1918, Blackhawks in 1933).

Every team other than Edmonton is just creating ICBMs that fall into the ocean.

kas23 Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 Yotes went the second period without a shot on goal. Must make Darcy proud.

Claude_Verret Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 The race for the Shart is indeed down to two or three teams. Toronto and others are too little too late and are merely jockeying for a bump in lottery odds at this point. Without that nonsense in December we could already be selling Eichel jerseys in the Sabres store.

woods-racer Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 Is it rue that the Yotes had a total of 6 shots on goal last night?
TrueBlueGED Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 I think the term is Scuds, not ICBMs Are they really Scuds if they think they can reach across the ocean and fail? Was going for a joke about North Korea's failed ICBM tests.
Hoss Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 Is it rue that the Yotes had a total of 6 shots on goal last night? They had 17. 5 through two periods.
Samson's Flow Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 They had 17. 5 through two periods. Unfortunately this season has skewed my shot total gauge. 17 shots in a game doesn't even look bad anymore. :bag:
woods-racer Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 They had 17. 5 through two periods. Hell, I was hoping the Sabres 10 shot performance would be eclipsed far a far superior Darcy Team...
Taro T Posted February 17, 2015 Author Report Posted February 17, 2015 IF Eulers hold at their season long pace, they'd end the season w/ 105 points. Sabres would clinch with a 14-11-1 record IF nobody surpassed the Eulers. At current pace, Sabres would finish with a 18-8-0 record.

Looking at the Sabres' remaining schedule I'm having trouble finding 8 losses in there. TOR, ARI, NJD, CAR maybe? I could see them losing maybe 5 games from here on out.
Brawndo Posted February 18, 2015 Report Posted February 18, 2015 Is Neuvirth going to be a problem moving forward?
Hoss Posted February 18, 2015 Report Posted February 18, 2015 Is Neuvirth going to be a problem moving forward? Irbe seems to be the issue. :p We have a pretty weak schedule going forward so games like this might be common if Neuvirth is here... Was really looking forward to creating some separation. Argh.
WildCard Posted February 18, 2015 Report Posted February 18, 2015 Still, can't ask for much better than 18-2-1. Can you imagine if we played that well in the NHL? We'd be losing our minds on here
