Brawndo Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 Enroth Myers Stewart Stafford Gionta Benoit Would that get us Marner? Probably, yes. Are you too conservative for that? My goal is McEichel. It would not surprise me if the first four are gone by March 2nd.

Brawndo Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 #### 'em. They're late to the party. This is a two horse race, getting Enroth and Stewart off the team solidifies the Sabres lead.
I am Defecting Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 My goal is McEichel. It would not surprise me if the first four are gone by March 2nd. My goal is Marner. I take McEichel for granted, like caviar for breakfast. The first four wouldn't get you anything better than first Mitch. I am the Wasp that infests your hives. Bwaa, haa, ha!

He would be a nice addition to Reinhart's Future Line, but McEichel is still the prize.

Brawndo Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 Isn't McEichel for granted? Nope. Finishing 29th or 30th looks like a strong possibly, but as a Buffalo Sports Fans I realize a 29th Place Finish means a team that finished somewhere between 28th and 17th wins the lottery and knocks us back to picking 3rd Overall.
Eleven Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 So here's what I *think* is going on in this thread: Crazy Ivan is saying that he thinks that the Sabres will finish DFL and get one of the top two draft spots, and then, can trade a combination of four players for a pick that the Sabres can then use to select Marner.

Let's not piss away our chances. Once established I shall dictate 29th, like it's my secret cabin, that I've treated as if it were number 30.

I think your right. I am not sure if I want to share what they have been imbibing in or avoid it like the plague
I am Defecting Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 I've narrowed it down to either the Plague of Marner, so it's really just up to how many smelt I dip this spring.

Taro T Posted February 9, 2015 Author Report Posted February 9, 2015 Need a Joisey Loss tomorrowYep. Preferably in OT / SO.
Brawndo Posted February 9, 2015 Report Posted February 9, 2015 Yeah Puck Luck and Enroth are thumbing their noses at advanced stats just a little.
Taro T Posted February 9, 2015 Author Report Posted February 9, 2015 IF Eulers hold at their season long pace, they'd end the season w/ 107 points. Sabres would clinch with a 17-10-1 record IF nobody surpassed the Eulers. At current pace, Sabres would finish with a 19-9-0 record.

It took me a good minute to straighten our which numbers meant what in this post. My carrion chops are, apparently, not up to snuff.

bunomatic Posted February 9, 2015 Report Posted February 9, 2015 The way its going it'll be a nail biter on the final game of the season.
Hoss Posted February 9, 2015 Report Posted February 9, 2015 The way its going it'll be a nail biter on the final game of the season. New Jersey, Nashville, Dallas, Arizona, Colorado, Arizona, Toronto, Chicago, NYI, Carolina, Columbus, Pittsburgh. That's our last 12 games. This isn't going to be easy.
TrueBlueGED Posted February 9, 2015 Report Posted February 9, 2015 (edited) Yeah Puck Luck and Enroth are thumbing their noses at advanced stats just a little. Are they? We should be in first place...and we're in first place. There's always going to be some aberrations along the way, but the body of work is what we should expect. Derrico Posted February 9, 2015 Report Posted February 9, 2015 New Jersey, Nashville, Dallas, Arizona, Colorado, Arizona, Toronto, Chicago, NYI, Carolina, Columbus, Pittsburgh. That's our last 12 games. This isn't going to be easy. True but the 12 games before that are: Rangers, Preds, Blue Jackets, Canucks, Panthers, Lightening, Senators, Capitals, Leafs, Rangers, Capitals and Bruins. With 7 of them being on the road. We need to go something like 9-3 or 10-2 through that stretch and get a bit of a cushion. The next four look like they could be tough as well, although Philly is fighting for their playoff lives and playing well (CHL poorly) as of late.
