2014-15 Buffalo Sabres Season Ticket Holder Challenge: Eat More Pizza Logs Than Number of Sabres Losses

So how is everyone doing so far?

I still haven't tried one. There are just some words that shouldn't go together. Pizza and Log. Maybe if it goes down with a Margarita and a Stream that would make it sound more appetizing. Other than Ted's old onion rings, I've never much liked fried food.

Try the onion rings at Hayes Seafood. Some of the best you will ever have.

It's an egg roll with pizza inside, for the uninitiated. Delicious. Bad for you. And I am not eating them at Sabres games at those prices ($4.50 for a bottle of freaking water?!) when they're available at Thirsty Buffalo with decently-priced bourbon, within walking distance. Sorry, challenge denied!

Technically I don't think you have to eat the pizza logs at the game.

Alright, alright.

Elite Division:

Eligibility: Season Ticket Holders only

Challenge: Eat more Pizza Logs than number of Sabres losses in 2014-15. Pizza Logs must be eaten (but not necessarily acquired) on the premises (inside or outside) of the FNC/Harbor Center.

Doesn't say you have to be at the game.

You have to understand the LOGistics of the situation. The pizza logs are a three minute walk from my house. They are inedible without some volume of aperitifs, and I'm not talking about fine liqueurs. Ya dig?

There's room in the Open Division.

Otherwise, if you want to chow Pizza Logs in a tailgate-like situation pre- or post-game near the arena, you'd still qualify for the Novice or Elite Divisions.
