biodork Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 Makarov :worthy: End of the 2nd, still 2-1 Sabres. No update yet on Kaleta's condition. Wish I could watch the third... good game! Quote
SwampD Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 I like the Pete Rose Commercial. Quote
darksabre Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 Can we talk about how ready Ristolainen is for the NHL? Dude is great. Quote

Derrico Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 (edited) Can we talk about how ready Ristolainen is for the NHL? Dude is great. Oh ya he's a regular full time now. Question is how long will it be until he's a top pairing guy? Edited September 29, 2014 by Derrico Quote

darksabre Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 Kadri taking a stiff jolt from Meszaros makes that signing worthwhile. I hate Kadri. Also Stewart has been very good in the preseason. Quote
Brawndo Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 Was Kessel on the Twinkie Diet Plan this Offseason? Quote
bunomatic Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 Was Kessel on the Twinkie Diet Plan this Offseason? Him and Nikita Quote
inkman Posted September 29, 2014 Author Report Posted September 29, 2014 Was Kessel on the Twinkie Diet Plan this Offseason? He's always looked like a fat middle Earth troll to me. For the second time in two games the idiot announcers are calling for a penalty when there shouldn't be one. How far out from the boards are you not allowed to touch a player? Fifty feet from the way these two geniuses are talking. Quote
I am Defecting Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 Makarov save on Knee Lander, and Bow Sack. Grigorenko for Captain! Quote
I am Defecting Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 Armia for the tie... yes! Quote
... Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 Grigorenko is a lock for the big club; I'm saying it now. Quote
Weave Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 Grigorenko is starting to look like he is, in fact, between Reinhart and that last top 9 roster spot. Looked very much like he belonged today. Quote
I am Defecting Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 Got in late. Who did we injure? Quote
darksabre Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 Got in late. Who did we injure? Every talking head in Toronto. Quote
biodork Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 Too bad they couldn't catch up with Hammy and Nolan after the game. Guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow for an update on Kaleta and Larsson. Quote

nfreeman Posted September 29, 2014 Report Posted September 29, 2014 My game notes: - it seemed like they were trying to get a good look at Griggy, Armia and Deslauriers. - Griggy looked much improved. Much quicker and more involved. Still think he should start in Rochester but I feel better about him long term. - Armia showed some signs of life but he still has a good way to go. - I did not like what I saw from Hodgson. All of his passes seemed off the mark. If he can't create offense with his passing then he doesn't have much to offer. - Makarov seemed to rebound well from getting shelled in Traverse City. - the Toronto crowd seemed pretty lively for a preseason game. You did see hodgson's saucer pass to Grigs for the goal right? Quote
