Norcal Posted December 31, 2014 Report Posted December 31, 2014 (edited) Draisaitl is the German Wayne Gretzky, you couldn't possibly be talking about the same guy? Shame they didn't just loan him to Germany for the IIHF? Was he eligible to compete? Edited December 31, 2014 by Bills12Sabres11 Quote
Hoss Posted December 31, 2014 Report Posted December 31, 2014 Wearing number 8, Derek Roy with an assist in his first game with Edmonton. Nice set-up for a one-timer. Quote

LGR4GM Posted December 31, 2014 Author Report Posted December 31, 2014 Yeah, going into the season with Arcobello as center #2 isn't a good idea. I believe in the press conference they had recently, McTavish claimed that that wasn't a mistake at all. (this was probably brought up in this thread) That team is baffling. If I were the owner and my gm said that, I'd fire him on the spot. Leon can't skate or think at NHL speeds, it's blindingly obvious. Quote

wjag Posted December 31, 2014 Report Posted December 31, 2014 In the category of, I have never seen that before, Ryan Miller was 1/2 on penalty shots stopped last night. Quote
Marvelo Posted December 31, 2014 Report Posted December 31, 2014 (edited) 23 year old Magnus Paajarvi is already a reclamation project who was just waived by St. Louis. He's a former 10th overall first rounder a few years back. I think Buffalo should take a chance on the guy... http://www.elitepros...php?player=6014 Edited December 31, 2014 by 716 Quote
WildCard Posted December 31, 2014 Report Posted December 31, 2014 No surprise there: the Oilers drafted him Quote
Iron Crotch Posted December 31, 2014 Report Posted December 31, 2014 Oh wow the oilers won a game ... The Kings were on the second game of road back-to-backs and have several sick players (flu). :) (They outshot Edmonton 15-1 in the 3rd) Quote

TrueBlueGED Posted January 1, 2015 Report Posted January 1, 2015 Yikes that's a lot. Granted he is having a good year, but still he's not worth that much IMHO. Agreed. The following tweet sums up my feelings nicely: Jason Brough @JasonPHT 24m24 minutes ago Nick Foligno's shooting percentage is 23 percent this season. His career rate is almost half that. He has never scored 20 goals. $33 million Quote
LastPommerFan Posted January 1, 2015 Report Posted January 1, 2015 I knew someone was going to do it. Me too. Good. I'm glad I'm not the only terrible person who had that thought when they read Bio's comment. At least we now know that this board will continue after we all go to hell. Quote
