Doohicksie Posted November 25, 2014 Report Posted November 25, 2014 Ouch that was embarrassing to watch. Suddenly I like my Sabres so much more. At least (lately) they have some spunk. Quote

Hoss Posted November 26, 2014 Report Posted November 26, 2014 McNabb with another headshot... The kid is a scumbag. Needs to be coached up because he clearly has no clue how to make a clean hit. Lunged right into Taylor Beck's head with no contact to any other part of his body. Quote
Doohicksie Posted November 26, 2014 Report Posted November 26, 2014 Ryan Miller got his second shutout of the year, 31st of his career, against New Jersey tonight. Former Sabre Steve Bernier had some great chances but Miller stoned him. Quote

bunomatic Posted November 27, 2014 Report Posted November 27, 2014 Talon in Florida says he's willing to part with veterans in order to give the kids playing time. He's open for business and it sounds to me like they're all in on the tank as well. Teams that'll go for that McOption will start shedding ' talent ' in order to get in the running for the # 1 or 2 pick. Quote

The Sabres should unload everyone soon. Quote
Taro T Posted November 27, 2014 Report Posted November 27, 2014 There will be a limited amount of buyers. The Sabres should unload everyone soon. If the goal is the tank, as long as Mess and Beano are dressing every night the Sabres are in that rare possition where they can actually be buyers and still stay in 30th. Bench them, and yeah, time for some moves. Quote

Taro T Posted November 27, 2014 Report Posted November 27, 2014 The Sabres are barely clinging to a tie for 30th as is. No way this team buys and stays there. Murray will sell. You under estimate the Tank in both of these 2. Mess has played in 16 games and skated off victorious only 5 times, only 1 of which Beano also dressed. Beano has played in FIFTEEN games and has skated away victorious in exactly 2 of those; the SO win over the Candy Canes and the game in SJ against the one team in this league that CAN NOT beat the Sabres. (The Snarks are so hosed when playing the Sabres, the Sabres could play both Mess and Beano and STILL only give up A goal.) Not saying the Sabres WILL buy this season, just that as long as Mess and especially the new tank commander Beano play, they CAN add talent and still lose regularly and consistently. They're ready to start moving their prospects into the lineup full time. Trochek, Grimaldi, Shore, Olsen, Robak, Their not shedding talent, they're making room for Gudbranson, Huberdeau, Hayes, Eckblad and Barkov to take over as the new core. Quote
