Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted May 15, 2015 Report Posted May 15, 2015 Damn, they're losing their entire front office up there. I didn't even think of that.....yikes....sad stuff. He was a huge player in the horse racing industry and sold pretty much everything off last year. The hockey world was picking on him for being cheap by putting restrictions on the Sens payroll, but maybe the whole thing was him getting stuff into order. Quote

He was a whale once upon a time in the casinos as well. The man gambled like an Asian sailor on leave. Quote

shrader Posted May 15, 2015 Report Posted May 15, 2015 https://imgur.com/uWjQHzm I had heard only the last post yesterday. Now it makes much more sense as to why Discovery would take that jab. I'd assume their twitter guy is in NYC. Quote

WildCard Posted May 16, 2015 Report Posted May 16, 2015 Bergevin (Montreal GM) addressed the media today and mentioned how the Canadiens will not have Galchenyuck be a center (maybe never), and that it's hard to acquire a big center in the league. Here's to you, Evgeni Malkin. Quote
Hoss Posted May 16, 2015 Report Posted May 16, 2015 http://www.sporcle.com/games/kittypoo/nhl-top-5-per-team-2014-15 Fun little quiz. I can get to around 120 at most. Should be unlimited time. Quote

Some good news on this front ... http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/eugene-melnyk-could-get-liver-transplant-soon-12-potential-donors-chosen-1.3077110 The liver is a wonderful organ. A transplant can be successful with only a piece. The liver can regenerate itself quite easily for donor and recipient. Hopefully one of the twelve potential donors will work out. Quote

A story put out about rich guy who needs a liver and days later he gets one. If nothing else, I hope this raises awareness and some other people in need of transplants find what they're waiting for as well. Quote

It's actually valid point in general, but when you get live matching donors.....it's more about the match. I'm sure the person will be in a Sens suite at some point....maybe for life. Quote
