TrueBlueGED Posted July 22, 2014 Report Posted July 22, 2014 (edited) Sheeyyitt. The Leafs have done something progressive, low-risk, forward-thinking, and sensible with their FO. Success isn't sure to follow, but I like their chances a whole lot better now than I did when the old cronies were running them into the ground year after year. This is very bad news for Sabres fans. I wonder what the ETA is on Nonis' dismissal. He's crapped on anything and everything progressive and done so publicly. If Shanahan is going the progressive route, I can't imagine Nonis lasts more than a few years while Dubas learns the NHL front office. Edited July 22, 2014 by TrueBluePhD Quote

Then again: How great will it be if, in 5 years' time, the Sabres and Leafs are both contenders? That 1999 ECF was a thing of beauty, I tell you. Quote
