Andrew Amerk Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 The King's Stadium Series Jerseys take the cake for the worst in the league...besides our thirds They are definitely......different. Quote
Hoss Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 They are definitely......different. Which always means horrible... I think the jerseys are nice. The pants are brutal. Quote
Andrew Amerk Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 Which always means horrible... I think the jerseys are nice. The pants are brutal. For a one time event, I like the uniforms. Also, I like what the Sharks did with the place. Looks cool. Also like the exaggerated numbers on the sleeves, for those in nosebleeds Quote
SwampD Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 I thought they were cool. Different, but cohesive. Quote
carpandean Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 Which always means horrible... I think the jerseys are nice. The pants are brutal. Agreed. The top-bottom two-tone was pretty neat, but they would have looked better with gray (silver) pants. Quote
Norcal Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 Brutal missed call in Dallas vs Detroit game...Abdelkeder pushed Lehtonen in the crease and Detroit scored. Blatant interference. http://www.cbssports.com/nhl/eye-on-hockey/25077520/watch-stars-lindy-ruff-kari-lehtonen-lose-it-as-red-wings-rally?FTAG=YHF7e3228e Quote

Stoner Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 Yay, another guy who can die in his 30s! Flying elbow? Hard to tell. If it wasn't, is this where we are in hockey now? Even an attempted clean hit has to be avenged? Quote

Even an attempted clean hit has to be avenged? It was clearer on TV. Rinaldo came in with both hands up at Green's head. How he didn't connect I don't know. He certainly intended to. Quote
Hoss Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 There needs to be some way to penalize goalies who throw tantrums when they let in a goal. Rask just swing his stick after giving up a goal and hit Versteeg... Quote

Hoss Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 There is. Slash or high stick? Good point. But it wasn't called. What I'm suggesting is that it be called if it's over the top, regardless if they hit somebody. DISCLAIMER: Before anybody comes out with the "emotion" argument, I agree. I want MORE emotion in sports, not less. But this is a dangerous show of emotion. Quote
X. Benedict Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 I say Chimera was justified. Rinaldo went for a high elbow and missed. Quote
Hoss Posted February 22, 2015 Report Posted February 22, 2015 The Bruins are mopping the floor with the Blackhawks right now. Bullying them all over the ice. 4-1. Crawford pulled. Quote

Hoss Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 Ryan Miller injured in crease collision against the NYI. Eddie Lack replaced him. Hope it's minor. Want to see him back here Thursday. Quote
Eleven Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 (edited) Hope it's minor. Want to see him back here Thursday. According to the tweet I just received, he smacked the ice several times with his stick in frustration, indicating it might be severe. Anyone know how Vancouver "responded"? Would be interesting if they bang up a couple of Islanders and knock that team back into the CHL. Edited February 23, 2015 by Eleven Quote
