JJFIVEOH Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 Aw crap... Is that from SN4TCH? OK, now Eleven's post makes a little more sense. Quote
shrader Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 Clendening is a Wheafield native. The kid is a powerplay pointman in the waiting. I was wondering when he would make it to the show. Looking at his AHL numbers, just like in college, he's an assist machine. I wonder if it's as simple as him just being blocked in Chicago's system. Quote
Hoss Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 The #bruins have recalled goalie Malcolm Subban and sent Niklas Svedberg to AHL Providence on a conditioning loan. Quote
rakish Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 Clendening is 22 in his third AHL year. If I got this right, he's not waiver exempt next year. There's been a lot of talk here about who the Blackhawks might part with due to the salary cap, I think this indicates they are thinking about parting with a forward instead of a defenseman. Forsling, though drafted low in 2014, has had a pretty good year since, with lots of points at the World Juniors. Chicago is buying a few more years in a prospect, Vancouver is getting a more ready player. I like the move from each perspective.. Quote
Johnny DangerFace Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 Predator hockey porn. smh That was so great haha Quote
Rasmus_ Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 (edited) James Mirtle @mirtle 17s 17 seconds ago Trade: Chicago acquires defenceman Gustav Forsling from Canucks for defenceman Adam Clendening. Forsling had a quality WJC for Team Sweden and Clendening is a right handed defensemen that replaces/balances out Vancouver's pairings until Bieksa comes back. Clendening has put up points in the AHL for Grand Rapids but has not place on the team. Especially since Ville Pokka would be called up first. Edited January 30, 2015 by TheCerebral1 Quote

Rockford, not Grand Rapids. ;) I haven't seen this one yet. I randomly came across this story online. Remember the whole story where Jack Johnson's parents screwed him out of a ton of money? They apparently did something similar to his paternal grandfather (also named Jack Johnson). I hope they eventually get what's coming to them. Quote
Iron Crotch Posted January 31, 2015 Report Posted January 31, 2015 Predator hockey porn. smh I immediately checked my computer to see if the sound was coming from there. To my surprise, it wasn't. Quote

WildCard Posted January 31, 2015 Report Posted January 31, 2015 Blackhawks seem to show up only against the big teams in the league; clearly waiting for May every season at this point Quote
Eleven Posted January 31, 2015 Report Posted January 31, 2015 What happened?? During about a minute or so of the Predators hockey broadcast two nights ago, obvious porn sounds were audible. They were nearly as loud as the commentary. Quote

Sabres Fan in NS Posted January 31, 2015 Report Posted January 31, 2015 (edited) Can we trade Rob Ray for this dude? I'd make that trade everyday and twice on Sunday. I love the *Grim Reaper*. EDIT: I love Ray, but I don't think he ever won a fight with the reaper. Edited January 31, 2015 by Sabres Fan In NS Quote
Doohicksie Posted January 31, 2015 Report Posted January 31, 2015 Was kind of a John Scott type - a couple years here, a couple years there, always as an enforcer. A look into another side of the Grim Reaper. Quote
Cereal Posted February 1, 2015 Report Posted February 1, 2015 I watched the Jets lose to the Stars tonight. My comment is that it was very refreshing that their announcers were so non-homer and knowledgeable about the opposing team and the rest of the West. Also, that Mathieu Perreault is so so greasy (and awesome). Quote
