Kids that were born 4 years after me are about to be drafted. It's ######.

Want to talk about a jolt? I was talking in class about what it felt like when 9/11 happened, and how the coverage was and how it was just a total surreal feeling. I asked the class of they remember finding out and how they felt...of course they didn't you big dummy, they were all 4-5 years old! I think of the early 2000s as yesterday, yet my undergrads largely don't understand the examples pulled from those years. Yikes.

I'll throw this out there and watch Eleven burn. I like weird numbers it is interesting. I also decided should I ever end up on the Sabres roster I would resurrect Patches' 38

I have no problem with 38.

The high numbers aren't weird anymore.  They're commonplace.

I like the idea of question marks.

I don't see much grit in the top-6. Looks like little too much like the Derek Roy-era Sabres.

C'mon guys, it was about the jersey numbers  :P

Perogy gets 62 and Bio can wear 64

He's got battle winning grit, not blow you up grit.

We could always put Zemgus on the top line. I really am not seeing him as a 3rd line player anymore.

Can we really call Mr 2 penalty minutes gritty?

Mr. Led the league in Takeaways two years in a row.

Grit doesn't just mean flying off the wall hitting people constantly...

I need a guy on the ice that will murder anyone who touches our top line forwards. Maybe it's Kane...

Bogosian, Zadorov, Ristolainen, Gorges, Weber, pretty much our entire defense at this point so there is some solace in that.

Our D corp is pretty nasty.  I agree that I could use 1 more BMF'er in the forward ranks.  Preferably one with skill (obviously).
