Huh. Jack Adams finalist in '12, Jack Adams in '13. Three year extension in '13. 11-11-5 so far this season. No word on his lookalike.

Maybe this season was an abbreviated wait and see on MacLean before they presumably go talk to Bylsma?

I thought they would promote Luke Richardson from the B Sens

There are rumors this will happen but so far it hasn't. I think Luke Richardson got looked at by a couple teams over the summer for head coach jobs.

Wondering out loud. Canadian dollar is tanking with dropping oil prices.

Soon $1.00 CA might soon be at $0.81 US

I wonder what this will do to league revenues. 3 of the top 5 revenue clubs are Canadian.

It means 2015 will be a good year to have a LOT of cap room and a free spending owner.

It also will be a chance to see if the league imposes any currency-exchange hedging on the member clubs. My guess is they don't or it is minimal.

It probably puts the breaks on any Canadian expansion thoughts for a while.

Marty Brodeur looked pretty good last night.

I can't believe they actually let him take the walker out on the ice with him. You'd have to think that would be a competitive advantage. That and sooner or later he's bound to attack someone with it.

Hehe. I have never once heard of Nelson Mandela in an educational setting and I'm pretty educated. Something that isn't taught everywhere

Mandela has the record for longest suspension, 20 some years in the penalty box.

Seems like I remember it being taught when I was in high school (in the early 90s), but I could be wrong. Apartheid was a "big deal" back then though, ending the same year I graduated.

Apartheid was a "definition" we learned in world history in high school. That was the extent.
