Stoner
This is a story from 2010, but do any of the old timers remember these rumors? http://puckjunk.com/...08/paper-sabre/ Pretty awesome story. I remember it like yesterday. X. wrote it on a bathroom stall at the Howard Johnson's just off the 90 heading toward downtown. I replied six months later — and he came back with the phone number of his, uh, ex. Information traveled slowly in those days, but it was worth the wait. BagBoy
Beliveau was the epitome of class, both on and off the ice. I was very lucky to see him play at the Aud a few times as a youngster.
Hoss
Beliveau is the reason that a PP goal ends the power play. He scored a short handed hat trick in 44 seconds and the change was made.

Found it, wasn't short handed, probably just a typo http://ourhistory.canadiens.com/greatest-moment/Beliveaus-Hat-Trick Edited December 4, 2014 by WildCard

Uhhhh, pretty sure it's actually a story from '74; ya know, when the friggin' card came out! ;) The 'search' function would provide an answer to your question. :) I don't remember the rumor, but is that the world's first photoshop? Topps and OPC often painted over a player's colors if they got traded in the off-season before the new set came out.
