Pretty awesome story.

 

I remember it like yesterday. X. wrote it on a bathroom stall at the Howard Johnson's just off the 90 heading toward downtown. I replied six months later — and he came back with the phone number of his, uh, ex. Information traveled slowly in those days, but it was worth the wait.

Found it, wasn't short handed, probably just a typo

Topps and OPC often painted over a player's colors if they got traded in the off-season before the new set came out.

FLA had 55 SOG on Bob tonight. Tied 3-3 going to SO.

 

And then Bob saves 4 in the SO to win..

Shots on goal 55-19, not bad considering Columbus had the first 8.
