26CornerBlitz Posted June 23, 2014 Report Posted June 23, 2014 http://www.hhof.com/...d14prolog.shtml Hasek, Modano, and Forsberg are all locks as first time eligibles. Does Andreychuk make it this time? Quote

X. Benedict Posted June 23, 2014 Report Posted June 23, 2014 (edited) I'd expect Weight to make it before Andy. Could see Blake in as well. I think Brian Rafalski has a good case. Him and Stevens were dominant as a pair. 3 Stanley Cups. 5 trips to the finals with NJ and Detroit. I don't think he gets the call.....mostly because of his slow path to the NHL, NCAA, years in Europe, and his (cough) citizenship. Edited June 23, 2014 by X. Benedict Quote

X. Benedict Posted June 23, 2014 Report Posted June 23, 2014 Rob Blake > Lindros?? I think it is early for Blake. But I don't have a problem with him in there. Quote

I couldn't help but think of Adam Oates getting snubbed for a few years when I read that last sentence. He didn't have the europe or the citizenship thing, but I wouldn't be surprised if his undrafted college free agent pedigree may have hurt him for a while. Quote

IKnowPhysics Posted June 23, 2014 Report Posted June 23, 2014 @BNHarrington The official Hockey Hall of Fame bio on Hasek is at this link: http://www.hockeyhal...14Hasek.shtml … #Sabres Weird, I don't remember Hasek being a 37 goal scorer with a +/- of 2.27. The years, teams, games played, PIM, and if +/- = GAA, that's all right. But goals, assists, and points are wonky. Quote
