X. Benedict
Worst deal of the day... James Mirtle @mirtle Capitals gave Orpik a five-year, $27.5 million deal. Wow. That's really high.
26CornerBlitz
Now all we have to do is sign Moulson and I can be happy. I think both Moulson and Ott head elsewhere.
TrueBlueGED
Based on halak? You've been preaching all offseason how the isles are going to do everything in their power to improve. Although it's still early literally all they've done to help them is sign a middle of the road goaltender. Boyle already gave them the ol f u and no real other signings as of yet. Just remember, league average goaltending last season would have given them 45-50 (can't remember the exact number) goals allowed. It's not outrageous to think Halak performing around his career average puts them outside the top-10 picks.

I still see them picking top 10 because, hey, it's Snow.

It's not outrageous to think Halak performing around his career average puts them outside the top-10 picks. True but no vanek or moulson as of now. Also, even with jt back they were bad last year with him. Could they end up in the teens? Sure because there is a lot of parity in this league and three point games make a huge difference but nothing they've done yet screams a drastic increase in standings. As of now I'm going to say 6th to 12th with just as good a shot at 6 than 12 IMO.
