Jsixspd Posted June 3, 2014 Report Posted June 3, 2014 (edited) You'd almost think Bettman was a weasely little lawyer from the way he acts. Oh wait..... hahaha, when I called him "little" I didn't even realize he's a tiny pixie of an ambulance chaser - like 5' 5" or 5' 6" We need an R. Lee Ermey to ask him how tall he is - if he says 5' 6" then of course - "5' 6"??? I didn't know they stacked ###### that high!" LOL Edited June 3, 2014 by Jsixspd Quote

deluca67 Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Does a Rangers Cup victory change how fans will look at Glen Sather? He has been a target of jokes and ridicule over the years. Quote
nfreeman Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 The Rangers are surprisingly good at forward: Stepan-Kreider-Nash Richards-St Louis-Hagelin Brassard-Zuccarello-Pouliot Boyle-Moore-Dorsett/Carcillo Their top 4 on D are also quite good: McDonagh-Girardi (NB Mirtle wrote today that McDonagh substantially outplayed PK Subban in the 3rd round) Staal-Stralman And Lundy in net. I'm not saying they're going to win, but they could, and I think it will be a very competitive series. Does a Rangers Cup victory change how fans will look at Glen Sather? He has been a target of jokes and ridicule over the years. Definitely. I've been thinking the same thing. Quote

Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Both teams are deep and balanced. LA is a little more top heavy while NY has the better goalie. My prediction....Darryl Sutter gets so stressed out being down 3-1 in the series that he pulls a flask out behind the bench on national TV..... Quote
Hoss Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Players from both teams that have never won a cup before: Los Angeles: Robyn Regehr (13 seasons, age 34) -- Former Sabre Marian Gaborik (12 seasons, age 32) Tyler Toffoli (1 season, age 22) Tanner Pearson (1 season, age 21) Martin Jones (1 season, age 24) New York: Everybody but Martin St. Louis, Brad Richards and Daniel Carcillo. Had Kreider not Kreider'd Price, we'd be looking at a 'turning legal' rematch. I actually expect them to win in 6. All things equal, LA is the better team, but Doughty is beat up and they've played a LOT of hard hockey. Quote

LA has won more recently therefore I must root for the misery to continue for fans of the NYR. Quote
LGR4GM Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 I think NYR have a good shot here to win. Don't ask why because there isn't tons of logic behind it. I am going against the grain and picking NYR. Quote
Samson's Flow Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Given the teams that each finals team went through, I think it is no contest who the better team is. LA Kings: beat Sharks in 7, Ducks in 7, Blackhawks in 7 NY Rangers: beat Flyers in 7, Penguins in 7, Habs in 6 Can anyone with a straight face tell me that the East coast teams can hold a candle to the West teams? It's LA Kings in this series. Easy. 5 or 6 games. Quote
LTS Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Not that the Rangers make it to the Finals with him... but anyone else think Callahan wishes he signed that offer now? Quote
