Me too. Especially with Barzal on the board. Absolute steal there.

And they can likely get a solid guy at 33 still. They clearly never felt comfortable giving him full-time minutes in their top six after many said he was ready.

This is a good deal for both teams.

Actually, can't believe they passed on Chabot, and Conner too.

The Boston fans had a helluva day yesterday too.  I wonder what the reaction on their fan boards and newspapers are today?  Picking three straight times in the middle of the round must have seem like a fans dream.  That on top of all the trades they did with the prospect that they had to be moving up.  Then the early picks are swallowed up and they start their gauntlet of three picks..  And then the Jakub, Jake and Zachary picks happen.  That had to seem surreal to them.  Gone Lucic, Hamilton and Soderberg.  In with a goal that is not needed.  Crazy..    Tank on...

It's like they wanted to use those 3 picks to trade up or something...

Poor Bruins.  HAH.  I'm so happy they did this.  Panicking!  Chiarelli doesn't make that mistake. 

Top options at #51?  Opinions?

Colorado dealt 31 to San Jose

 

Trade details:

 

31 to San Jose for 39, 2016 2nd and 2017 6th.

 

 

The 2016 2nd and 2017 6th both were previously Colorado's but now are back with them.

Actually, can't believe they passed on Chabot, and Conner too.

I read last night that not a single one of Boston's picks was ranked in the top 20 by ISS. I eagerly await them being a perpetual 80 point team.

Yeah, when they failed to move up and then failed to announce anyone immediately recognizable, I got a massive hate b0ner.

GMTM on the phone, maybe with NJD who appears to trying to move down.

Garth Snow learned how to GM at some point in the last two years.

He passed his anti-gm mojo off on Boston

I don't remember a draft with so much trading in my life.  This has been wild.

They got a better pick in round 2, in Carlo lol.  

Cernak was a guy I loved.  Sigh. 

They could have taken Senyshyn in the 2nd round easily.

I hated both the DeBrusk overrdraft and Senyshyn, but truly who cares.  Let Boston fall down into the cracks.
