LTS
I don't really see how 1 pull-up is the difference between a sure first overall athlete and someone who should be avoided like the plague In Buffalo everything is different.

Ottosmagic13
This is a good place to put the "Linus Ullmark can dance" video that Kris Baker posted earlier this week: If dancing ability was an indicator of hockey ability then I'd be....well I'd still be playing on a B-level Men's Hockey team *silent tear*

sabre snipe
how many pull ups was average for the combine and what were the top reps? i thought i read 8 somewhere for the top but I could be mistaken. ill agree that one pull up is pathetic but to not draft a guy solely because of it is ridiculous. pull ups do not take long to get good at. i bet within a month, possibly even two weeks bennett could be up with the best of em doing around 8 pull-ups. this really isn't a big deal in my opinion

TrueBlueGED
Reinhart only managed 2 So what you're saying is he's infinite times better than Bennett. Got it. :P ;)

Bob Malooga
This got me on youtube for an hour...I was dying watching some of these, I had to add a few. (I don't think anything will ever top that "worm" I saw posted above though.) This little kid just has the time of his life playing goalie...even playing his air-guitar! Jacob Markstrom gets down to the "Venga Boys!" Goalie does the "Wobble" with dance team. (and he KILLS it!) Sorry, I couldn't help myself...being a former goalie and currently a DJ, I love this stuff! :-) (I am actually in talks with my old high school and the rink they play at to DJ the varsity games this winter.) I had to add this...I freaking love hockey, I love goalies. (PS. I love Marty Biron, too.) *The song to this video is great too, the video is even better...Rob Dougan - "Clubbed To Death"...I highly suggest watching it. See if you can figure out the meaning behind...it's one of "those" music videos, it's a message that has significant meaning for the world today, and life in general. EDIT: Here it is... ("Go against the grain, break down barriers...and set an example.") Edited June 7, 2014 by Bob Malooga

dudacek
Be shocked if Compher and Fasching don't play key roles. It would be nice if any of the others join them.
korab rules
5 of the 20 drafted players invited to world junior camp are Buffalo owned. And Sabres will very likely be drafting at least 1 or 2 more of the draft eligible kids this year. Light at the end of the tunnel. Hoss
Didn't he crap the bed this year? No, his team did. He was the MVP of a ###### team. Improved his numbers slightly despite the horrible group.

I thought top juniors guys were supposed to jump a huge % on numbers?
dudacek
So far, Bailey is the weakest of last years top six picks, but he and Hurley were also the two biggest projections - raw athletes in need of grooming.
Hoss
I thought top juniors guys were supposed to jump a huge % on numbers? He's a second rounder that was viewed as a long-term guy. If he doesn't jump soon then it's a worry.
Ghost of Dwight Drane
I really don't follow juniors....it just seems that say guys eligible for the draft this year....if they had similar numbers to last year, their stock plummets. Guys in the fringe 1st last year end up projected 3rd and 4th this year.
