Hoss Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 You really don't see all that many huge jumps, but players do tend to increase slightly from year to year. There's definitely no reason to be concerned with his progression though, since his stats were essentially the same both years. Next year should be very telling though. He's at the point where he needs to take over and become a leader on that team. The junior season may as well be the make or break year for a lot of the college kids. That's basically what I was getting at. You don't see a lot of huge jumps when a guy is playing a similar role on a good team the next year. Next year will be huge for Fasching and Compher. It should be their last year in college before the jumps to Buffalo/Rochester. Quote
Hoss Posted April 24, 2015 Report Posted April 24, 2015 Sault Ste Marie currently leads 4-3 over Erie. Bailey has a goal and an assist. Dupuy has a goal. Baptiste has two assists. McDavid has all three Otters goals. Quote

Rasmus_ Posted April 24, 2015 Report Posted April 24, 2015 Wait until Jack Eichel has a better playoff than McDavid. Or wait until Buffalo makes the playoffs before McDavid? Quote
Hoss Posted April 28, 2015 Report Posted April 28, 2015 1-1 in the Erie-Sault Ste Marie game. Jean Dupuy scored for the Greyhounds and Nick Baptiste for the Otters. If you want to watch the game it's on NHLN. Quote
MBHockey13 Posted April 28, 2015 Report Posted April 28, 2015 Kris Baker of Sabres Prospects tweeted about how Dupuy has impressed him the most. Quote
Hoss Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 Kris Baker of Sabres Prospects tweeted about how Dupuy has impressed him the most. That's stretching it a bit. Baker: Going back through the first three games of the series...I've liked Bailey and Baptiste, but the Sabres have really found something in Dupuy He also says that Dupuy is the prototypical versatile 4th liner. Quote
dudacek Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 Hey Vlad, I see you added Dupuy to the list. Don't forget Rodrigues and the Nevins kid we got from the Habs. Quote
MattPie Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 Make it 4 So is this the Baptiste show or is McDavid feeding him endless impossible passes for lay-ups? Quote
3putt Posted April 29, 2015 Report Posted April 29, 2015 The kid can shoot the puck. McD had assists on two but Baptiste can score Quote
