Hoss Posted May 25, 2014 Report Posted May 25, 2014 Who cares if they watch a practice? Really, they have game tapes and everything in order to prepare for the next opponent, so who cares? Except when teams make adjustments during practice in the middle of a series... Quote

They are probably just fracking with them, trying to get into their heads. What a great rivalry this is turning out to be!!! Quote
Jsixspd Posted May 25, 2014 Report Posted May 25, 2014 (edited) You watch the Chicago-LA series, and you realize just how far away the Sabres are from being even remotely competitive. :( IF the Sabres rebuild is as successful and well-done as the Chicago Blackhawks, this is what you should see unfold; Sabres 2013-14 - equivalent to Blackhawks 2006-07. Hawks finished 5th in the central, 30th in the league in PP Sabres 2014-15 - Hawks 07 to 08; Hawks rebuild was fully underway this season. They did not qualify for playoffs BUT team finished 3rd in Central, and had a WINNING record. I'm hopeful at least the Sabres can break 500 - if the Hawks can do it, why can't we with all the money and resources available? Sabres 2015-16 - should be able to make it into the playoffs - Chicago in their 3rd year of the rebuild made it to the Conference Finals and lost. I would hope at least the Sabres, by the 2016 playoffs, can make it into the 2nd round of hte playoffs. Sabres 2016-17 - TRUE Stanley Cup Contenders at that point, and forward - respected coast to coast, and pillar to post! Let's hope OUR rebuild is managed as efficiently and quickly as the Blackhawks. By 2017 playoffs, if we're still one and done in the playoffs, or not even IN the playoffs, time to fire all the coaches and management and start over until we get it RIGHT! MILFHUNTER#518 Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 This has to be the worst PP I can remember watching in the playoffs EVER!!! Quote
Jsixspd Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 Rangers just drew another penalty - maybe they'll score again? LOL Quote
MILFHUNTER#518 Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 These Habs are just not a 1st period team I guess... Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 Rangers don't wanna play 5 on 5 Rangers don't wanna play 5 on 5 Quote
Iron Crotch Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 (edited) So far, this one is not nearly as exciting as last night's Chicago - LA game. Edit: I think I need beer... that ought-a help. Edited May 26, 2014 by Potato Quote
Iron Crotch Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 Big goal for the Habs. Frankie is an under-rated little player. Quote
MILFHUNTER#518 Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 Carey Price will have to work to keep his job this off season Quote
Andrew Amerk Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 I think the rook has played well. Considering its a Conference Final, Game 4, visitor, at Madison Square Garden...and he was, what, in the AHL a week ago? Quote
darksabre Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 Milbury crying about Plekanec embellishing the high stick. Like he's not supposed to instinctively react when a stick almost hits him in the face. What a twit Milbury is. Carey Price will have to work to keep his job this off season I highly doubt it. Quote
MILFHUNTER#518 Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 Would it hurt to try Vanek and Briere on a line? Quote
bunomatic Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 Vanek with 1 shot in the last 3 games. None tonight. Quote

The kid was in the AHL last week, and now he is standing on his head and going toe to toe with Lundquist!! Quote
darksabre Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 After this series? The kid was in the AHL last week, and now he is standing on his head and going toe to toe with Lundquist!! So he takes Budaj's job. Price is the guy in Montreal. Tokarski won't maintain this anyway. Quote

Randall Flagg Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 So he takes Budaj's job. Price is the guy in Montreal. Tokarski won't maintain this anyway. It is really neat how often young goalies can steal a show. One of my favorite parts of the playoffs, wondering if someone can come out of nowhere and make a name for themselves. Quote
MILFHUNTER#518 Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 Vanek with 1 shot in the last 3 games. None tonight. That needs to change and quick!! Quote

Iron Crotch Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 Vanek sure looked like a max salary player out there. Quote
Kristian Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 Vanek hurting his own stock, that's for sure. Quote
