I am Defecting Posted May 8, 2014 Report Posted May 8, 2014 Crosschecking, I summon YOU! Now somebody ought to throw some garbage at the Arena from the Skyway. I'll alert the News, he'll check the board then, and respond. Quote
biodork Posted May 8, 2014 Report Posted May 8, 2014 (edited) Where's Crosschecking? He's changed his name a few times (I want to say he was most recently going by Oliver Cromwell?), and I don't think he's been around since he and his wife adopted a while back. Edited May 8, 2014 by biodork Quote
I am Defecting Posted May 8, 2014 Report Posted May 8, 2014 Well, Crosschecking, know that we are thinking of you, and that if you wish to divorce your wife, so that you can still be able to post on SabreSpace, that you have a support group. But, in the long run, it may not be worth it. Quote
Ghost of Dwight Drane Posted May 8, 2014 Report Posted May 8, 2014 It would have been an even more inglorious way to die than driving one off a cliff. Or driving On a Cliff..... Quote
I am Defecting Posted May 8, 2014 Report Posted May 8, 2014 (edited) When it's dark, pitch black, one doesn't know the cliff edge from the cliff face. It's seldom that one gets the chance to drive along the edge of a cliff in the pitch black; so more often it's a pedestrian that falls off the cliff edge, down the cliff face, in the pitch black, into the whirlpool below. In such times, I would hope that someone would get rescued, and be not alone in the whirlpool, however deep. and scary. But if one comes with friends to the cliff and falls, then the height may be a factor. When one calls out from the whirlpool and hears nothing but the drowning rush of water, then what hope is left? Then what? But if one falls into the whirlpool and there is someone far above that can navigate one to safety, then there is hope of redemption. And that, perhaps, is SabreSpace.
