LGR4GM Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 I'll be the cro-magnon that asks WTF is going on in that pic? It's been talked about plenty and it wasn't a botched trade. Paille was a first round bust, with the worse case of stone hands ever, that came with this rep of being a great hitter and picked his spots once every 20 games to actually hit someone. He wasn't going to live up to his billing in Buffalo because he was expected to be a top six forward. He was able to slide into a checking line role with Boston without expectation and fit in nicely. If anything it was a case of botched draft position. We don't know how Grigorenko will turn out yet I mean.... oh you were talking about over expectations for Paille... my bad, carry on. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 Is it just me, or did NBC lose all of its sound Quote
inkman Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 Just heard the quickest whistle ever after a Rask save and by save I mean he touched the puck Eriksson absolutely blasting Chara with his stick was awesome Quote
Norcal Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 Since both teams can't win, Go Habs. Price has been pretty darn good. Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 Thomas Vanek is so lazy he beat Chara in a front-net battle and scored a goal. A real player would have knocked Chara on his ass and then scored. Quote
LGR4GM Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 I really hope one day the Sabres have a team that is physically capable of matching the Bruins. Glad Montreal is winning but you can see it down low, they are smaller. Quote
darksabre Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 Officiating finally calling the Bruins on their bullsh*t. Quote
X. Benedict Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 Gotta give Vanek credit. He really is great standing in front. There is a reason why he's traditionally given the Bruins fits. Quote
darksabre Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 Subban ducks on a Thorton hit and Thorton hurts himself. Outstanding. Quote

If he sucked that bad Boston would have flushed him a long time ago... Quote
darksabre Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 Vanek and Subban are just killing the Bruins. I don't think there's any way he doesn't sign with Montreal. He's got his groove back. Quote
LGR4GM Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 SO Vanek is getting a type of revenge right now. He is kinda useless except parked in front on the PP Quote
26CornerBlitz Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 Vanek is still the Boston Strangler! Quote
G-Daddy Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 Pretty soon lucic and marchand will take out Vaneks ankles. Quote
LaLaLaFontaine Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 (edited) Yeah Boston will give TV the contract he wishes, just to make sure he won't score against them again. Wow what skil! Edited May 3, 2014 by LaLaLaFontaine Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 I'm not liking this momentum swing I'm seeing ################ talk about choking Quote
darksabre Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 Boston decided they only needed to play ten minutes of hockey and it worked. Quote
Hoss Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 I felt after game one that this series was going to be just like Detroit where the team facing Boston luckily pulls out game one before getting smashed the rest of the way. Montreal might've blown this entire series this game. Quote
Hoss Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 Montreal will be lucky to win another game this series. Boston won't be stopped. Quote
kishoph Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 (edited) Deja vu, Vanek scores 2 and then the Sabres Canadiens blow a 2 goal lead. I began to think changing my avatar brought good luck, not Sabres luck. Edited May 3, 2014 by kishoph Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted May 3, 2014 Report Posted May 3, 2014 Montreal is not the better team, plain and simple..... They needed this game and had it in their hands on just gave it away.... Bruins in 6 Quote
