Eleven Posted May 10, 2014 Author Report Posted May 10, 2014 I farted once. I cared more about that fart than I do about this stupid series. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 I farted once. I cared more about that fart than I do about this stupid series. Preach it brother, terribly boring series..... First round had much much more excitement..... The bruins habs series is good Quote
Iron Crotch Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 Bryzgalov just gave up a hellasoftie of a goal. Quote
WildCard Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 So Minnesota is what, 2-5 on the road thus far these playoffs? I don't know if it's last line change or the atmosphere, but either way that doesn't bode well for a team that will never have home-ice advantage. Quote

bunomatic Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 Here we go. Nothing beats playoff hockey. NOTHING ! Â Come on Monreal Beat those Bastards. Quote
bunomatic Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 Things went downhill quickly for the Habs. Stupid penalties and a hostile hometown crowd. Methinks this one is over. Quote
Andrew Amerk Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 Things went downhill quickly for the Habs. Stupid penalties and a hostile hometown crowd. Methinks this one is over. Â I hope not. Keep in mind, MTL had 3 or more goals in each of the first 3 games. Â Also, Rask only has something like 5 wins in 20 career games against MTL... Quote

Andrew Amerk Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 Â Â True. There's still hope. Â There's one! Can we get 2 more? Â Also, did Pierre REALLY compare Dougie Hamilton to Larry Robinson??? Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 Bruins are relying on players that are pretty young. How did they get all this young talent? Pretty impressive  Is Vanek even playing tonight? Quote
Andrew Amerk Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 Bruins are relying on players that are pretty young. How did they get all this young talent? Pretty impressive  Is Vanek even playing tonight?  -not being afraid to trade young talent like Kessel and Seguin, when they realize they don't fit their system  -consistently surrounding young players with good veterans like Iginla, Chara, Jagr, etc  -I think their team pack mentality really benefits the young players, and lets them feel comfortable. They know they are protected by the goonism of players like Lucic, Marchand, Thornton, Chara, Boychuk, etc Quote
Kristian Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 Looks like the Ducks have solved their defensive and goaltending problems, short term at least. Completely new series. Â And Chicago dropping two against Minnesota is not something I had expected. Quote
Kristian Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 So. John Gibson. Â One game. Â However, lots of playoff series are decided by one game. Â I'm sure LA felt they should've won this one. Quote
Taro T Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 One game. Â However, lots of playoff series are decided by one game. Â I'm sure LA felt they should've won this one. Â Considering the Ducks had no shots in the 2nd, you might be right. ;) Quote

... Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 Not to sound cliche, but these past two games the Rangers are playing inspired hockey. Â OMG, Pittsburgh with elbows flying everywhere. Â Never really cared for the Rangers much, but these past two games have been really good. Pierre sucks for class. Quote
shrader Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 Remember earlier this year after he got suspended and people called Thornton a class act? Quote

Never really cared for the Rangers much, but these past two games have been really good. Pierre sucks for class.  I'm kinda pulling for the Rangers. Lundqvist has been a solid goalie for a long time, not flashy, and deserves one. I like M St Louis, Nash is cool. Boyle and D Moore are hard workers.  I can't stand Crosby, HATE the Bruins, and don't like MTL since they are a main rival (although I'm pulling for Vanek and Briere). Quote
Eleven Posted May 12, 2014 Author Report Posted May 12, 2014 SO much nastiness at the end of that second period. Â Oh well, on to the series that I actually want to watch, but which is on too late. Quote
... Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 I have nothing against the Blackhawks, but their goal song is annoying. Quote
